“This was a planned stop on the way home from Florida. It was a plain, but clean and comfortable room. My only complaint other than road noise was all light bulbs were low wattage and dim.”

“We spent the night on the way to NC to open our cabin for the summer. This is the 2nd time we've used this hotel. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. They had just cleaned the carpets and regularly keep the property clean & maintained which is why we return.”

“They are redoing some of the units, so a little bit of a mess during the day. I was glad to see them upgrading. Otherwise fine. ”

“Cute motel. Nice location to be able to walk and shop or sit and enjoy the river. However, the bed was hard as a brick and the blanket was a home. It was basically a thin duvet cover. With some better linens, this would be a great place. ”

“Pros: I liked that it was close to the restaurant that we had dined at. The outside doesn't speak for the inside. It was pretty clean on the inside. Cons: The check out time was earlier than expected-10 a.m. With a checkout time that early, it would be helpful to have alarm clocks in the rooms or a phone so that allows you to call down to the front desk and have an alarm scheduled for you. “Very friendly manager. For our fishing expedition to Carter's Lake, the location is perfect. Not far from some great restaurants in Ellijay as well.”

“The room appeared to be clean. The sheet on one bed did not appear to be fresh. The first night was extremely noisy from loud music overhead until about 1:30a.m. The second night the noise came from the room next door until about 9:00p.m. (acceptable). The towels were freshened on the 2nd day, but new cups were not provided (no tea for me) . I would have used one of the old cups except some type of winged bug was crawling in it.”
