"Beautiful property and great location, but front desk service needs improvement
We recently stayed here for a week for our wedding trip. Overall, the hotel itself is lovely, but the service experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
The Positives:
First and foremost, the location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s nice, peaceful, and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for to relax. The pool area is excellent and well-maintained. We also want to give a shout-out to some of the staff members who were incredibly helpful and attentive during our stay and truly understood hospitality.
Where the Hotel Could Improve:
Unfortunately, the service at the front desk was a major letdown. The two people who checked us in were continually miserable and welcoming. We mentioned twice that this was our wedding trip, and it wasn’t acknowledged at all—not even with a simple "congratulations" or a card in the room. For a milestone trip, this felt incredibly cold and dismissive.
While the property itself is wonderful, the management really needs to focus on training their front-of-house staff to be more welcoming and attentive to guests celebrating special occasions. It’s a great hotel, but consistent customer service would make it excellent."
