“Everything was perfect. Place was very clean and organized. Hostess was very nice and an amazing cook. I suggest eating there as every dish was great. If we get back to Madeira then this is a must stay if outside of Funchal.”

“The hotel is located in a very old building, and unfortunately the rooms feel quite humid. The breakfast is very basic with limited options. Another downside is the poor soundproofing — you can hear everything happening in the hallways and nearby rooms. ”

“Easy check in system, though, if you're not yet comfortable starting your car off uphill, just turn it further up the hill before parking opposite the gate where you get your keys from the box. Overall spotlessly clean, the communal kitchen is well equipped, the host is friendly and replies in no time. The location lies ideally for any adventure.”

“Selon certains commentaires, l'hôtel a eu un épisode de punaises de lit il y a 10 mois. Lors de notre séjour, nous n'avons pas eu de punaises mais une infestation de cafards (chambre et salle de bain) au milieu de la nuit. Nous avons tout de suite contacté le numéro de "garde" de l'hôtel (réception fermée à 1h du matin) afin de trouver une alternative et d'être remboursés. Nous avons finalement passé la nuit dans notre voiture jusqu'à l'ouverture de la réception. Le lendemain, la réceptionniste...
