“Excellent place to stay in downtown . The hotel is historic a rich past. Don't expect that "new hotel" look & feel, the building is gracefully aged and helps one step back in time! Very good for the money.”

“Non-smoking Room smelled like smoke. Had to agree to pay 350 room cleaning agreement to clean room if smoked in room. I don’t think they use the money to clean the room. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, had to go to front desk to get some. The breakfast was complimentary and eatable but not worth any extra money. Staff was friendly no issues with check in or checkout. Plenty of parking and great location from the Royals stadium. ”

“Bed was comfortable. Door was weird to open. No breakfast. Parking was good.”

“Breakfast had a good selection, average quality. I wish the bar would have been opened earlier. We were going to a baseball game and would have enjoyed a pregame cocktail. Room was ok, bed was not comfortable. There was only one hook for towels. If you use towel rack provided your towel would touch the ground. ”

“Room was fresh and clean with good lighting. 220 has very nice cold AC. Awesome water pressure in shower. Staff is friendly. My only disappointment was there is nothing to use in the kitchenette except paper towels. I brought leftovers back from dinner at TR but didn't realise there was no utensils to eat with. Maybe put some pre-packaged plastic utilsils in the drawer or with the coffee service.. Steak bites are still good with fingers. Baked potato, with toppings is a bit more difficult....

“Clean economical place to stay. We spent 1 night while traveling. The breakfast was decent and enjoyable. Some fresh fruit was have been nice. Would stay again if traveling through the area.”

“Room was clean. Getting food was hectic, but we had never been there before so we didn't know what to expect and didn't check in early enough or think to reserve anything. We went for a show and it was fantastic.”

“Hot tub had way to much chlorine and some the jets really need repair”
