“Wonderful historic hotel with all the charm of 1940’s Enjoyed the spa, but timing was a little off to get both a massage and use of facilities. Prior guests trash and towels were left outside our room. Otherwise, recommend!”

“Exterior looks run down but room was nice”

“The staff was very helpful and polite. The only negative was the caulking around the tub and it needed a new toilet seat. We did not hear any of the semis leave so I would say the rooms were quiet.”

“Staff was very friendly, helpful. Rooms not very well maintained. Not very clean. Breakfast was not really breakfast. Lobby area too small.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Front Porch. Rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. John and Jill were fantastic hosts and the breakfast was amazing. It's an old house with a lot of history and it has a great atmosphere. Excelsior Springs is a historic residential area and has dozens of mineral springs. It also has local wineries, vineyards, restaurants, boutiques and shops. We would definitely recommend this Bed & Breakfast.”

“My complaints were minimal and no doubt due to the fact that I am a senior traveler. My stay was also very short, just overnight to sleep and out the door the next morning at 5am. I was able to tap into their WiFi and that was good. Hope to spend more time with other guests on my next visit.”

“Cleaner than expected of "by Wyndham" properties. Host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.”

“I travel for work so I have stayed in some pretty questionable places however this was by far the worst. I slept with a chair in front of the door and also went and bought shower shoes to wear in the shower. This is also the only time I have ever left a review for a place. This place needs a lot of work. It has potential however at this time I would never recommend this place for anyone.”

“Comfortable and very friendly. Here for family funeral.”
