"Booked thru the Expedia site using debit MasterCard because I don't have a credit card. Upon checking in I was told that a credit card was MANDATORY for checking in. The manager did not have a way to bypass it(or she wouldn't) so I have to go back and get a card from my mother in law just to check in. It was not clearly mentioned during the process of reserving the room on Expedia site. It caused a headache and almost $80 in cab fare to get the cc. If it's required, it needs to be mentioned...

"I booked this overnight stop months ago as part of a road trip at which time the review score was good. I noticed that this had gone down due to some recent negative reviews and was thinking of changing but was past the free cancellation date. I was therefore a bit wary but actually everything was fine. Nice large comfortable and clean room with very comfy bed. Only downsides were poor lighting in the bathroom and the carpet had seen better days, otherwise very good albeit perhaps a tad...
