Great location to explore North Norfolk.
Superb rooms, everything you could need, lovely friendly hosts.
Delicious breakfast!
Highly recommended , will definitely stay again in the future.
Comfortable, cozy and quiet with an amazing fresh cooked breakfast. Close to city and coast for exploring. Amanda the owner was a truly lovely person with lots of knowledge of the area.
We have recently stayed at Tony and Amanda’s B & B for three nights. Tony and Amanda are wonderful hosts, friendly and professional. The breakfasts were amazing, and the flap jacks when we arrived were a welcoming treat!
The room was spotless, comfortable and well equipped.
We will happily recommend ‘The Barns’ to friends and family should they visit North Norfolk and we would happily return ourselves another time.
All good, Shower needed a bit of maintenance as one of the shower heads had been removed leaving only the rain head, was OK for me but my wife doesn't like them. Also part of the shower was held together with cable ties. We were not expecting this and that is why I have not rated the hotel as excellent. Breakfast was really good.
Really lovely room. Lots of extras you don't usually get like a fridge, water, washing up liquid and cloths so you can wash up your glasses and cups, umbrella, torch and magnifying make up mirror. On arrival there was really tasty home made flapjacks in the room. Our room had a little decking area with chairs. We sat out one evening and it was so peaceful. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. The booking was simple and the owners communicated really well before and during our stay. Lots to do in and around the area. Would definitely recommend the barns.
A great place to stay - lovely room, comfortable bed, homemade flapjacks on arrival, friendly hosts, delicious breakfast - we would definitely recommend this place
Fabulous room and friendly service. Great choice and quality of breakfast, nice touches of cakes, biscuits and water in the room. Not the best WiFi connectivity, and a warning Google maps direct you to the opposite side of the road!
Lovely room, just a little too hot as couldn't get the towel rail in the bathroom to switch off. The beds were so comfy and breakfast service great. Very happy with our stay.
We loved every aspect of our stay. It is run by the loveliest couple who were so welcoming and very attentative to everything. It is run so well, very well appointed. It has awards every year and you can see why. We will definitely go back to visit.
We had a truly lovely 3days at The Barns , our room and en suite was immaculate, our hosts did not skimp on anything, from the products in the bathroom to the littlle fridge , a tray with tea and coffee making facilities , also a plate of homemade cakes, fabulous. There was a good choice of breakfasts which the cooked breakfast were freshly cooked. Amanda and Tony were lovely and friendly hosts.
A very comfortable three day trip to north Norfolk. The accommodation was excellent being well maintained and spotlessly clean. We were impressed by the hosts who were both friendly without being overly so. The outside sitting area was well constructed and welcoming on warm evenings. Breakfast was home cooked to order, very tasty and set us up for the days exploring. The flap jacks and bottled water provided on arrival were a lovely touch. Self Check- in was very easy and would recommend this bed an breakfast without hesitation.
We spent a wonderful 4 days at The Barns at Thorpe Market. It's in a perfect location, a oasis of calm, but ideal for visiting a wide variety of different areas including seaside resorts, coastal walks and National Trust properties. Check in was easy and there is ample car parking space. Our room was clean, comfy and spacious with plenty of storage and we made use of the communal outdoor seating area at the end of the day. We were especially delighted with the thoughtful touches in the room and the welcome gift of scrumptious homemade flapjack. We definitely had no trouble getting a goodnight's sleep. Breakfast was spot on and well cooked and we certainly didn't go hungry. Just loved the omelettes! The hosts, Amanda and Tony are friendly and extremely helpful. They always asked about our previous day and our ongoing plans and are very knowledgeable about the local area. Their tips and advice were very useful indeed.
It' a great place to stay and I highly recommend The Barns at Thorpe Market.
