“The staff were excellent, continental breakfast, pet friendly, popcorn @ night, 12 mins from Oak Island without all the salt to rust my truck. Plenty of places around the motel to go eat, do, very clean, quiet”

“Clean and updated rooms. Great staff! We love our stays here!”

“My stay was great. The young man who checked me in was great! There was a lot going on at check in. Seemed like there was a family gathering and kids were all over the place while I waited to be checked in. Over stimulated with all the stuff going on at that moment. Room was great but the fridge wasn’t working. Thought it was but, no. Keep in mind that this hotel is out in the middle of nowhere and it takes 30 mins to get to any of the islands you want to visit. I did a lot of driving. There...

I booked the last room with 2 beds that faced the ocean it was in the 7th building the furthest from the elevator. When we checked in Lori the desk clerk I had spoken to had placed my mother in the 2nd build on the 2nd...

“Great stay”

“Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!”

“We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family.”
