We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean and comfortable with a very homey vibe. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The location is close to the main core area, an easy walk to almost anywhere in Oban. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house was very cool, the room was small but functional, as was the bathroom. Very basic. Nice to be a bit on the outskirts yet walking distance to everything.

I very much appreciated the personal welcome, not just receiving access codes via a text. Janet, the manager, was very welcoming and exceptionally friendly. The room and the house were clean and had a warm flowery scent. I was lucky to have been given a room with a direct view to the sea. This made it even more pleasurable to sit in the armchair and drink my morning coffee and night drink. Should I visit Oban again, I would definitely try to get a room at the Hamilton Guesthouse again. Thank you so much.

Simple but comfortable room. We had tea and coffee to make and a small but functional ensuite. The property is close to good pubs and restaurants and was a good spot to stay at a good price. We paid to park Accross the road.

We did not have a good experience for the high price we paid. The communication with the manager was not great and there was no person at the guest house to check in with. The room was tiny..absolutely no place to put 3 large suitcases except on the floor. The room had a chemical smell that did make our friend ill. We had to leave early as she thought it was pneumonia but it was from the chemical smell..she is handicapped. We had to climb in the window to get back in after getting take away for dinner. Someone locked the door from the inside. There was another guest also trying to get in without luck. We did try and call the manager with no luck. Husband is 69 and had to climb in the window to unlock the front door. What would have happened if we had not left the window open? Very noisy room as we were by the front door and heard the door open all night with other guests coming and going. It was not a good experience for the high price we paid. Would not recommend this place.
