Despite how it looks on the outside, this is a very nice hotel. The outside looks rough and needs some attention, but our room was lovely. If you have heavy luggage, be aware that you have to bring it up several stairs to reach the lobby (there is no ramp or lift - the stairs are the only way). The breakfast was good, the people were pleasant, and the amenities were fine. The standout feature of this hotel is the location. Oban is a really lovely town and this hotel is right across from the harbor.

As two hotels are joined together, the ambiance was a bit off one wing to the other. Large bed made getting into the room with our luggage a bit awkward. Parking out front was greatly appreciated. Very well located.

Excellent hotel. Nice breakfast, and clean, well appointed rooms (although small) Only disappointment was that the description includes parking, however, there are only four or five spots for the entire hotel

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The room was so clean and we could not fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well cooked and thoroughly scrumptious. A special mention to the young lady (Precious) who never failed to smile and greet you when entering the restaurant. All in all 10/10 and we will be back

Huge shout out to the staff for finding me a fine! It was a hot day in Oban and I was so hot! I thought this location had a/c when I booked but I misread. I wouldn’t stay here again because I can’t live without A/C and bless those who can 🙏 Bed was uncomfortable for me, I’m used to a softer bed and a hard bed can leave my back too stiff. Safe worked fine but no fridge. I paid a hefty bill for one night so I expected more out of the hotel.

Room was good for the price. However the wifi didn’t work on the room(it was the small cosy room behind the lift so that’s understandable but maybe you should say on the website that wifi doesn’t work in these rooms. Great breakfast. Altogether good value. Outside facade is off putting but inside has been renovated well .
