During our recent stay, we experienced a severe and unacceptable situation. Our original room (Room 316) was infested with bedbugs, which we discovered shortly after checking in. We were moved to another room (Room 325), directly across the hall — yet this room also had serious issues. The tub and sink barely drained, the shower head made loud noises, and worst of all, my infant was bitten. I have photo evidence showing red marks and swelling on his face.
We were charged nearly $1,000 for this stay — for unsanitary, unsafe conditions. When I spoke with the General Manager, Donnie Wooten, he acknowledged the presence of bedbugs in the first room but attempted to downplay my concerns about the second, even suggesting my child could’ve been bitten elsewhere. I’m still waiting on a call back to confirm the investigation into the second room where my son was bitten.
What’s even more alarming is the lack of accountability and proper room inspection. Are these rooms not being thoroughly checked before being given to paying guests? Housekeeping clearly missed obvious health hazards.
The last morning, I woke up feeling itchy and uncomfortable myself. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The lack of cleanliness, health safety, and customer care is beyond disappointing.
I strongly urge others to avoid this hotel — especially families with young children. We expected a safe and clean environment, and instead were exposed to serious health risks and were met
