Remote and only reachable via a ferry, the Ocracoke Lighthouse is quaint and beautiful but can only be viewed from the outside. They do not allow you inside the lighthouse.

Only a few parking spaces, on a very narrow road. We were unable to park and only got a glance at the lighthouse.
