“Super nice hotel to stay at!”

“Compass Margaritaville in Beaufort was awesome. It just opened in February 2026. The staff at check-in were very friendly. The room was clean. Fun decor. It was in a great location on a marina. You can sit by the pool and look at the boats. We had dinner at the restaurant. I suggest the tuna poke bowl. The breakfast was great. Lots of places to sit with family and friends in the lobby and outside. We played the ring toss game and had drinks on the deck after dinner. You could walk a few blocks...

There were several significant issues that made our stay uncomfortable: ​ Cleanliness/Maintenance: There was a persistent, terrible smell throughout the hallways. Additionally, the pool and hot tub area were in clear need of repairs and did not appear well-maintained. ​ Service: Room service was non-existent for the duration of our stay. “We decided to stay here at the last minute.Unfortunately, because they weren't many options left for the fourth of july. The main concern was that the the bed sheets were clearly dirty and not changed, there were stains visibly on the pillow right as soon as you walked in.And when we lifted the main comforter, there was stains on the inside, and here all inside the sheets. The bathroom shower had mold all over it. I cannot recommend this hotel for any other travelers. We, most certainly won't be...
