"After a grueling 7-hour drive, I arrived at 9:00 PM only to be blindsided at check-in. Despite no prior disclosure during the booking process, the front desk informed me of a mandatory $15 resort fee and a $100 pet fee. Charging over $100 in surprise fees upon arrival is predatory and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the room was poorly maintained; the floors were covered in sand, which is unacceptable regardless of the price point. I submitted a formal complaint to management regarding the lack of transparency and the cleanliness of the room, but I have received zero response. "The bed was extra firm and was somewhat hard to sleep on. There's a daily parking fee of about $20 which I think they advertise when you book the room. Housekeeping has to be specially requested which is nice to not have to worry about that interuption sitting the stay. Hotel like great and is right next to the beach. Enjoyed my stay"

"Overall enjoyable. They seem pretty understaffed for the size of the place. The staff I interacted with was cordial. If you stay more than a couple of days you will have to go to the laundry exchange to get linen. A text is sent to your phone asking if you have any issues or concerns. I had an issue of the smell of marijuana coming through the bathroom vents 3 or 4 nights. I reached out about it but did not get a response. A lot of stains on sitting furniture. There is also construction on site at times. The place seemed newly renovated which was nice. The issues above didn't prevent us from having a solid stay but just worth being aware of before you book "
