“Staff was great, room was decent for the price. Rooms could use some basic upgrades (fix bar that hold clothes, new mattress, deep clean carpet or replaced with something else, and it smelled of marijuana most days. Will be staying there in a couple of weeks again and will discuss with management. Overall a good place to stay if you don’t plan on being in your room most of the day and just need a place to shower and crash.”

“Hampton Hotels gave me very good impression in the past, but this one made me very disappointed. To my surprise, the bathroom only includes one sink and doesn’t have any counter to put cups, soak and other items. I had to flush two times to clean the toilet. “Wonderful beach stay and the staff will do all they can to help keep your stay excellent! Beach is a 5 minute walk away. Pool was clean and refreshing, will be back again for a family trip.”

“Everything was great until I pulled back the covers to get in the king size bed and found it was full of sand and very small dark curly hairs. Since I didn’t want to cause a fuss at 1 am with the security guard, who was the only staff available from 7 - 7, I pulled all the bedding off and slept in one of the twin beds instead. Definitely a one and done at the Atlantic Beach Resort for me. I would ask for a refund if I thought they would issue one.”

“Beds and pillows are terrible. Bed mattresses need to be replaced. Sitting chair looks like it’s has been used for sex . Lots of stains it was gross. Refrigerator made terrible noise had to unplug it and not use it. Reported it and nothing was done , still in the same position I had left it in . Got poor sleep. Couldn’t change room because it was booked up.”

“The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable.”
