I was taken back that when you first walk in, you are in a small check-in area between the front door and a locked door to the lobby and the staff is behind a glass wall. Makes you wonder about the neighborhood. Staff was nice, though. The rooms are simplistic. There is no mirror outside the bathroom if you’re planing in getting dressed, put on makeup or do your hair while someone is in the bathroom. I had to ask for shampoo as none is provided. Guess I should have specified I wanted conditioner too as I was only handed shampoo. 2 roaches ran across our room the first night. At least we didn’t see more after that. For some reason our keys didn’t work the second night so we could get into the hotel, but the person on duty quickly fixed that. Given the price we paid for OU parents weekend, I expected better. No shampoo, roaches and no breakfast. The staff was nicer neighborhood quiet, but I don’t think we’ll be staying there again.

Our beds seemed clean and the main contact surfaces seemed clean but it could use a real deep cleaning. The smell of bleach was extremely overpowering and left me with a headache. We didn’t try breakfast.

They require a $25 deposit (refundable) on checkin even with hotels.com. No breakfast. Bed was comfy, though one more pillow would have been nice. The bathroom sink is a trendy farmhouse style bowl that if you turn on the water too high at first, the water splashes right on you. The shower head is weak. If you are of wider girth, the tub shower design is not friendly, and it is deep (would be great for a skinny adult's bubble bath or a kid's bath though). Be aware that not all rooms had fridge & MW (mine did), just an observation based on signage at checkin. Secure entry even in front lobby (you have to meet your food delivery person downstairs). Spartan, affordable. And the real AC was ICE COLD! I would consider staying again.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They did charge me anything when I brought my little chihuahua with me, I did have his kennel with me. Linens were all clean as well as the rest of the room and hotel. The deposit to stay was lower than anywhere else that In looked at. There wasn't breakfast but it made up for it by being clean and very quiet.

There was the smallest little waiting room that everyone had to cram into while waiting to check in. It was honestly ridiculous. The door was locked to the main entrance to the hotel. The ice machine was broken.

The hotel was clean. Hard to find the entrance because the parking lot was sandwiched in the “mile of cars” in Norman. Night manager took the $25 deposit in cash but it was not there when we checked out. Morning staff gave it back but it was obviously not the original deposit because the money was crumpled and independent from the envelope.

If you are looking for an inexpensive bed and a shower this is your place. Nothing was so bad I wouldn’t stay again for the price, I just wouldn’t stay multiple nights again. We had 3 people in our room. You have to ask for extra towels as the room only comes with 2. Shower was good, plenty warm and a nice spray. Only 1 mirror in room so no one could get ready while others showered. There are no tissues, pillows are flat and minimal, bed is hard as a rock. Hotel door didn’t fit the opening well (needed trim) so you could see light all the way around all night long. Floors weren’t carpeted so it was great for cleanliness but terrible for sound absorption. Lighting was terrible. Lights next to the bed were super bright and then there was a desk lamp. That’s it. No standing lamps. Plenty of parking. Close to highway and major retail and restaurants. 10-15 min drive to OU Campus.
