Clean and great customer service
This hotel was beautiful, clean and the room was perfect for our family of 4. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of choices, not just coffee and muffins. I highly recommend this hotel for the cost, cleanliness, and comfort!

The breakfast was good. Good location. King size bed was comfortable and clean, but the sofabed was terrible.

Disappointed
Room smelled like mildew or musty. Right when we walked in the door the smell Hit us. Sofa had a hole at the bottom. Needs to be maintained and cleaned better. Very disappointed. Second time in the last year I stay at a Spring Hill and it is not good!!

Disappointed
Front desk person was not friendly or professional. First room had a broken toilet so we had to move. The new room was on a different floor so we had to go get a cart & reload & unload luggage again, and then return the cart. The new room’s tv wasn’t connected in the back but we figured it out.

I really enjoy this place. The atmosphere was great, the pool was not to cold. I also liked that it was next to a Golden Corral buffet. that made dinner plans convenient for the family.

We were so disappointed in this hotel. Called before booking to see if pool was open. Told pool was good. Got there, it had been closed for a long time. Couch in room had stains all over it. I told our daughter it was prob food stains but it looked like someone had sex on the couch and made a mess. Asked for room to be cleaned daily. Was told that they could do that. We had to make our own beds and go get towels daily since the cleaning is apparently limited to every few days. Shower leaks all over the floor. Credit card also had $220 charge put as pending the first night. Was told i would get a 20 night incidental charge and apparently they charged me for the first night and a couple days of incidentals. Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend this for anyone. Only good part was breakfast.

This is a very nice & clean hotel. The staff was super nice; check in & check out literally took less than 5 minutes. Room was clean & spacious. The breakfast was fantastic with many options to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

Mid point- meet up
We were transporting relatives to a midway point so they could visit with other family. We chose to stay in a suite with the little living area. It was great and provided ample room to spread out and relax while we waited for the other family members to do pick up. It would have been nice to have an armless chair in the bedroom area near the closet for dressing and putting on shoes. Overall excellent stay.

No hot tub as advertised
They advertise a hot tub and an indoor heated pool but there was no hot tub because they filled it in with cement and the indoor pool was not heated. They converted it into a salt water pool and it was very very cold getting in.

Not what I expect from Mariott.
The room had a strong musty odor from the AC unit - mildew&dusty. Maintenance came to replace float as toilet would not auto shut off water in tank.The maintenance professional atested to the odor and tried his best to clean the unit's condenser and remove excess moisture.Although the AC cooled more efficently and we slept better for our second night, the order still lingered. I expect this smell from a cheap motel NOT MARIOTT. Room was clean and staff was nice, but breathing the foul air has given my wife an irritated throat and post nasal symptoms. AC needs replacement or tear down and sanitized.

Somewhat disappointed
We have stayed here numerous times since the hotel opened and have enjoyed EVERY stay except this time. The room had a strong smell (like trying to cover something up) it was not just us either a man two doors down caught us in the hall and asked if our room had a strange strong smell. There were also numerous spots of scratched wallpaper up the bathroom wall. Breakfast (which has always been a highlight (even through covid)) was cheap microwave prepackaged burritos and sandwiches which were already heated and soggy. They had a waffle maker but it did not work. We will try it again but we were disappointed to see such a shift this stay. Especially since the price has only increased son e it was built.

Two negative observations (to me): 1. The carpet in the hall on 2nd floor was badly soiled throughout the length of the hall. Perhaps Springhill could book rooms on other floors while carpet was being cleaned/replaced. 2. A large dog (German shepherd) was accompanying a party checking in on 1st floor. Springhill should let their guests know if they are booked in a room previously used by a guest with a pet. Pet allergies are a problem to some people.

Our room was awesome we just had issues with the ac. We got in the room and it was over 85 degrees in there. We called the front desk and nobody came up so i had to go back down to get a new room. After driving for 13 hours that was the last thing i had needed. Didn't even get an offer for a discount or anything. Not pleased

Went to check it and they did not have a chip reader and my card would not swipe and they would not take cash or type the number. The lady basically told me I couldn’t check in. I asked why they didn’t have a chip reader and she told me it would cost $24000 to upgrade. Luckily my wife’s card would swipe. Probably stay somewhere else next time.
