"I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years. This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited. The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. I will return for another week at this hotel in April. Thank you Expedia for leading me to this magnificent destination."

"Room was very nice, but needs some maintenance. Towel holder on the door missing and wall paper peeling. However, still a nice and quiet room. Parking was onsite, free, and accessible. Overall, hotel was very beautiful and is right on the river."

"The hot springs, including private ones, are amazing (and sulphurous), and so are the views from the hotel. The food is simple and good, both at dinner and at breakfast. On the other hand, rooms have cheesy smell to them, probably from mold; wifi is very weak."

"This hotel had a spacious room for three people and outstanding guests door and outdoor onsen bathes. I highly recommend this hotel. We plan to stay there on our next trip. "
