"Staff were welcoming and service was exceptional. Room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable with lots of space. Good value! Shower water temperature was very difficult to adjust to start and then had bouts of ice cold or burning hot while in it. "

"Room was a really strange shape and set up poorly. No streaming or tv services. No convenience store or shop and no vending so no way for treats, snacks or to get a pop. Right across from a hospital so sirens go all night. "

"Good enough. You get what you’re paying for and for the price compared to the $$$$$ of others it was okay. It smelled of febreeze quite strongly. The people in the room above us were moving chairs all night. Definitely wait for a higher floor. On the third floor you’re looking directly into other people. The Parkade was exceptionally empty, which was nice. You’re just a little down from all of the more popular areas after passing by a lot of vape shops and pubs. It is incredibly close to Granville Island, however. "

"This was the hotel of almost. It was almost really cool and retro, but the art was creepy, and they didn’t quite follow through. It was almost clean except for the spider in the tub and hair on my clean towels. It was almost peaceful except the played music too loud and all day. The room was almost comfortable except it was too hot and the portable AC unit was loud and took up too much of the room. The bed was almost nice, but the mattress was definitely not a pillow top and bounced when you moved at all. The staff was excellent and extremely welcoming. They were the only truly great thing about the place. Would I stay there again? Likely not."

"I liked the more old-fashioned style and wooden furniture of this place, but various things were a bit worn and the bathroom floor looked rather dirty. Unfortunately, the drains have cockroaches; two showed up from the bathtub drain during my stay. (Plug the drain when not in use if you visit.) In other words, the place needs some work, but not too bad considering the very low price and great location. The front office staff were also very polite and helpful."
