"We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful throughout our visit. Our family room on the third floor was spacious and offered a lovely view. The only downsides were that the decor felt a bit old-fashioned and there was no a/c, but overall, it was a good experience."

"The room we were in was quite large compared to other Eu and British hotel rooms. The bathroom was modern and large. We parked several blocks away at the train station, where we could pay a daily parking rate, rather than pay each 2 hours at the lot adjoining the building. The reception person was helpful, but reception is only open a couple hours per day, and there were no amenities other than a tea kettle in the room. The facilities met our needs, as there are restaurants, cafes and bakeries on the block. The hotel is in a great location for seeing the sites in Stirling."

"Advertised as daily housekeeping but it was not. General overall cleanliness of corridors and common areas was not as expected. Very small shower. Assigned a basement room next to the kitchen. We were unhappy with the room and asked to be moved. They moved us to a slightly better room on the 2nd floor and charged us an extra $81/night. I would not have agreed to it but the basement room was too hot to sleep in. Neither room was very good. The second one was slightly more spacious. At least it had chairs to sit in. No usb charging stations. The hotel had a restaurant and bar. Both were very good. The business plan seems to be to run a restaurant and bar with a small hotel as a side business. We checked in when we got there with the bartender. Delicious food It was well located. Easy access to old town and several restaurants."

"Parking was excellent! Staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Shower in my room was somewhat temperamental - either polar bear or boiled lobster. But there was a happy medium and once found (through gentle and small changes on the dial) a good invigorating shower could be had. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with a lot of variety. Would I come again - Yes!"

"Warning. Car parking is not free and is payable at all times. This is because it is managed by a third-party. Staff on arrival could have been polite and more helpful but reception staff were eventually welcoming. The room was clean and welcoming however not all windows had curtains so difficult to sleep. Breakfast - although it was individually plated and ordered, the food came as though it had been sucked for awhile."
