“This hotel was lovely! Have everything you need and it’s super quiet!
Staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was ready 4 hours early so we were able to check straight in. Really handy as they have lockers you can leave your stuff in to go back and collect after you’ve checked out, saves you having to carry big bags and cases around York with you. We will definitely be back. Perfect location to, only a 10 minute walk to York city centre. ”

“The hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isn’t too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.”
“What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...

“Stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring York and within 14 minutes walk of all you need to visit, ie York Minster, The Shambles, Jorvik Viking Centre and much more. Made two specific requests beforehand and both were met to complete satisfaction. Hotel staff very friendly, polite and helpful.
