Hotel is located just in front of Ollantarytambo station and collectivo station is located just next to Peru Rail station. When I checked in, hotel staff kindly informed me standard taxi fee and collectivo fee to the regional sightseeing spots. To come to hotel, go to the platform of Peru Rail and the door is right side of the platform.

Wonderful property. Right at the train tracks. Which makes it convenient, but also very crowded, hectic, and chaotic during train arrival times.

Our room was on the 2nd floor with Mountain View, one of the furthest away from the train station. With the windows open on 2 sides of the room, you can smell the fragrant angel trumpet plant. It was stunning. El Albergue also arranged guide service for us including transportation from Cusco airport and four 1/2 days of guided service including Macchu Pichu and train tickets. WELL worth it! Our guide was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Located in the train station, it was great for our arrival late at night from Aguas Calientes. If you are planning to visit Ollantaytambo you will have to walk a bit to hit the town. The property is well maintained, beautiful gardens between the buildings. The room was comfortable and the decoration was colonial style.

Fab hotel in an incredible location!
Amazing location and the hotel has a lot to offer - it has it’s own distillery where you can mix your own bottle of spirit, a small farm where you can enjoy a traditional pachamanca lunch, coffee roastery and a community education project The staff were great and made me feel very welcome, and well as giving me some great suggestions for things to do and see nearby

Really enjoyed our stay! Was so convenient for the train to Macchu Picchu and they organized our tour guide who met us as we got off the train. The farm tour and panchamanca lunch was a highlight! A 10-minute walk to town. Helen was so so wonderful before and during our stay. We would absolutely stay again!

We stayed at El Albergue for one night just before our hike to Inka trail.The hotel itself is fine but the location was the issue.It is located inside the train station and there is no air conditioning or even standing fan in the room. There was no air circulation in the room which made it impossible to sleep.To add to the misery if we open the window in the room, the train siren sound and smoke along with insects entered the room.When tried to approach the staff, they came in just to open the windows in bathroom and mentioned nothing can be done. Also the hotel did not honor the vip access discount for the stay and the staff was not fully aware of the expedia offering.

Fizemos a opção de dormir em Ollantaytambo, para visitar o sitio arqueológico de manhã cedo e depois tomar o trem para Aguas Calientes. A cidade merece uma noite. E o El Albergue é excelente opção. Localizado dentro da estação de trem, com bom restaurante, é super bonito e organizado. Além de tudo, permite fucar na estação, evitando a fila para o trem. Valeu muito a pena.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff are so nice and friendly. Helen went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. The view is amazing. The Breakfast and dinner were delicious and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

This property was beautiful! The Albergue has wonderful staff and a delicious restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Highly recommend eating there. The only issue is that it being so close to the train station, it’s very loud and smoky at night. I could not sleep because of the smoke. Seeped into our room even with the doors and windows closed.

Problemas con desayuno
La experiencia general fue agradable pero todavía el desayuno salió malo. Aunque el desayuno se empiezara a las 6am llegamos en esta hora para comer y no había nada listo para servir. El equipo intentó hacer algo improvisado pero como teníamos el tren a las 6.40 solo logramos salir con un paquete con tostado y huevos.

Dentro da Estaçao - Otimo Hotel
Hotel localizado dentro da estaçao de trem e proximo ao centro com varios restaurantes e bares a menos de 1,5km do hotel. Quarto grande e espaçoso assim como banheiro. Cama muito boa, lençois e roupa de banho de otima qualidade. Hotel com otimo atendimento e muito bonito e agradavel. Unico ponto negativo ficou para o café da manha, pois fomos as 6h (horario de inicio) e estavam colocando as coisas mas quando avisei que teria apenas 10 min, rapidamente trouxeram meu pedido na mesa devido a minha pressa para pegar o trem. Recepçao e todos os funcionarios muito prestativos e educados!

It was a safe clean place to stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful with we needed. They even provided us with water!

Hotel incrível e único. Fica literalmente na frente do embarque dos trens (é necessário entrar na plataforma de embarque para chegar até ele). Lindo demais, quarto super confortável e com um restaurante muito bom e diferenciado. Com certeza uma experiência única.
