โWe loved the convenience of the property, the amenities and activities for our 7 year old (pool, hot tub, arcade/bumper cars and bowling). The staff both at check in and check out were super nice. The hotel definitely has some wear and tear, but overall, we had all the convenience we needed. โ
โWe were back to stay at the Stone Gate Inn. This is our go-to whenever we come to Orillia. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect. We will be back. โ
โThe hotel was great, room was clean, a/c worked very well. But especially we loved Donna at the front desk. She added the specialness of the hotel. She gave us all sorts of suggestions and was friendly and wonderful! Also, we took her advice to try out the Portage restaurant on premises and LOVED it... try the appetizers, they were amazing!โ
โGreat little unpretentious place to stay. Clean, comfortable bed, A/C a little noisy but worked well in super heat. Convenient for downtown Orillia, and quiet neighbourhood.โ
โWe have stayed here a few times as a couple, and we love it, this time we brought our kids with us and they loved it just as much!
They offer swimming, few arcade games, and have a park for families to enjoy.

โFront desk staff were polite and friendly. Linen staff were so speedy at our extra blanket request they actually beat us back to the room with them from front desk. Breakfast was tasty, more seating needed as was very busy. Room was very clean, minor drywall and baseboard trim damages but overall fine- non smoking room slightly smelled of smoke when we first entered but window open and air circulation made it ok and that was clearly last tenant causing issue not hotel. We would definitely stay...
โMy boyfriend and I only came in around 1-1:30 in the morning but in all honesty the parking lot was easy to find parking. The hotel it self and everything in general was 100% clean & friendly definitely will be coming back โ
โWe only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was so comfortable and clean with a great view of the lake.
