They gave me an apartment that was dirty. We had to go all the way back to get a new room. Really inconvenient. We were in a big family. Once we got situated the apartment was ok. Not what you see in the pictures. Normal apartment with 3 bedrooms. We only got room service one day, they never went back to clean in 5 nights we were there. I had free parking and they kept charging me for my parking. Took over 30min during check out to give me my credit back. The water park is conveniently located. And that was nice.

We have stayed at the Grove many times and often recommend it to people. This last stay missed the mark totally. We would not go back. Unfortunately we brought family with us and had multiple rooms and were embarrassed that we had raved about this hotel. Someone was shot and killed while we were there and there was no communication from the staff at all! We woke up to police and media everywhere and had to ask them what happened as the hotel provided no communication to guests that it was safe to be there. The cleanliness has gone downhill by far. Lazy river was dirty. And hallways had holes in the walls. The outdoor grounds and pool/waterpark are beautiful. The units are in good shape and a good size. Beds are comfy and the rooms are very quiet. Those are the pros. Unfortunately you pay a huge resort fee and don't get anything for it. Not once in 6 days did someone come and give fresh towels or change sheets or empty the garbages. Not worth the price compared to other places in the area. Was much better pre covid and even 2 years ago.

We love the Grove. Rooms are fantastic. Check in terribly slow though. Self check in kiosks weren’t working for anyone. There was 3 ppl working the counter on a Saturday. We waited nearly 50 minutes.

The property is beautiful and the size of the suite was great. The water park is great. You do have to pay for the surf simulator and for the price, it’s not worth it. There is a resort fee of $230 which is outrageous given you do not have housekeeping services or clean towels, including pool towels. Someone was shot and killed during our stay and there was no communication from the staff. There is an early check in fee that we were not made aware of. Finally, our suite had a terrible odour, almost like cat urine. We will not likely return given the abundance of other properties that are similarly priced.

Could use a update a little worn down but overall nice. The fridges don’t have ice machine. The layout is nice we were 7 2 adults and 5 kids and it was comfortable. Pool had a bit to much Chlorine and lazy river was dirty.

The Grove is a great place to stay with children. Some parts of the property is worn and needs updating. The room itself could also be cleaned better. I found other people’s hair on the pull out sofa and in corners. Overall l, we enjoyed ourselves.

Post a notice that the water park amenities (slides) can only be used for 8 (height) my son was a inch too short to ride the slides. This was whole reason I booked this resort. Very hard to navigate around the building. If you have a child around the age of 5-7, pay attn to height restrictions for slides.

It’s run down inside facilities. Only lobby looked up kept, pools are dirty, bathroom showers leak water all over floor, limited towels, linens for pull out not available in a suite-when we requested them they weren’t brought up until 12:45 am A man was shot dead at pool the night we stayed and police was outside our balcony all night. Won’t be staying here again.

The assigned unit was not well maintained. The unit was not checked thoroughly before arrival. Had to request basic needs daily. The second bathroom was not profited for guests. The shower rod broken too small curtain . Had to layer floor with bath towels to absorb water.

This is our second time staying here. The rooms are great for a family traveling. The downfalls were the lack of wash cloths at the property. We asked several times for wash cloths but kept receiving towels. 2 out of the 4 we had in our room were dirty. The staff was ok not overly nice but just standard. There was a lot of police activity and a news camera outside the property when we checked out. Overall it was ok this time.

I just stayed as a family of five in a two bedroom. It was very clean throughout the property. The parking was extremely convenient! There are two things to know, it is far from the Orlando - International Drive area. Most chain restaurants or activities are at minimum (40) minutes away. The second, the property is big and it's easy to get lost in the hallways. Then signs could use some improvement. I mean confusing like I wouldn't let my toddler run ahead of me because once turn and they're lost. Otherwise, if you don't mind the drive or possibly walking 10 minutes after a wrong turn, stay here! We really enjoyed it. The water park is big enough to feel park like but small enough to keep track of your children. Every staff member was pleasant and I promise everywhere I went was manicured, clean and well put together. If it seems a tiny bit more expensive than another location, spend the few extra dollars. You'll actually save because if you're an activity seeking family, the water park/ pool area will suffice for at minimum, a whole day.

The hotel is huge, very easy to het lost, what I dislike the most is the fact that check in is at 4pm and check out is a 10am, at the end you pay over 300 dollars for 6 hours, also, most hotel let you come in earlier even id the room is mot ready and you can use the pool, here, the charge you an extra 35 dollars just for that, another thing I didn't like is the fact that you Pay 50 dollars for parking, which you do yourself in a parking garage.

The property itself was nice, but navigating through the building felt like navigating a maze, with long walks through hallways and stairs to reach different areas. Upon check-in, I encountered some issues that left me debating between a 3 or 4-star rating. I had booked through Expedia and was uncertain if parking was included, given the hefty $28 per day charge. After calling both the hotel and Expedia, I was assured that parking was indeed included in my package. However, upon arrival, I was unexpectedly charged for parking for 3 days. Despite spending over 30 minutes trying to resolve this with the staff, I was ultimately told that everyone had to pay for parking. When we went to our room, the door was open and the door was not locking properly, requiring a trip downstairs for assistance. Although they attempted to fix it, the manager ended up assigning us a new room, wasting valuable time that could have been spent enjoying the amenities. Additionally, while the condo itself was decent, it was in need of some maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable, and the blankets were disappointingly thin. The outdoor pool also left much to be desired, as it looked musty which deterred us from using it. However, the water park provided a better experience, though the water quality was average at best. I would not go back.

WaterPark: We chose this hotel for the heated water park attached to the hotel for a quick 3 night stay. Disappointed the lazy river & kids splash zone was not heated. Main pool was, but definitely not that much. Probably low 80s/high 70s. Also, rooms have full kitchen which is nice. We made sandwiches for 1st day at pool with snacks & fruit, only to find out outside food/coolers weren't allowed. We were in Building 2. Very far walk from pool. Plus, the kids enjoyed the surf lesson. WDW: Originally had not planned on going, but due to disappointment in water park, we ended up going to Magic Kingdom for our second day. It was easier to access WDW since it was west of WDW than staying on International Drive to the east. Checkin: Checkin was frustrating. Upon arrival I was told to park in garage 2. There were self checkin kiosk but no directions/maps to tell you how to get to your room through the confusing maze of buildings, parking decks, and elevators. Nor was there an option to add parking for parking pass. So I had to wait in the reg line after getting room keys for that. Once I spoke with staff and given a map of the property, I was told how to get from my car to the room. No one mentioned the wing we were in was on accessible by 1 of 2 elevators. Luggage carts were only for staff. We went to the wrong elevator. Pulling all luggage, groceries, etc with 3 young kids. It was a nightmare. It took ~45 minutes to get to our room.

Upon arrival our room was not ready. In lieu of that; management was quick to make it right. Rooms are spacious, perfect for families with a full kitchen. Lots of walking from our building to water park and restaurants. No room service. However my family loved it and we would revisit.

The property is massive; can be like a maze to find your way around. The rooms are very spacious and clean! But you only get 1 set of bath towels per person. The lobby furniture is in dire need of cleaning/upgrading. The property grounds are beautiful! The pool areas and waterpark are very nice; maybe just need cleaned more often due to the volume of kids in them. The shuttle to the parks offer limited and inconvenient times; we ended up Ubering daily. The front desk staff was wonderful, especially Carlos. The Valencia restaurant and Alfresco market is overpriced, but that is too be expected. There is really nothing at all within walking distance to hotel. It is secluded and private, but if you are wanting to walk to an off-property restaurant, souvenir shop, or convenience store, you cannot (must take an Uber or taxi).
