"Palazzo Artemide is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Very attentive staff. The hotel itself is gorgeous and located in the heart of Ortigia. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned (invaluable during the heat wave going on at the time). And the valet parking is extremely helpful, given that street parking in Ortigia is next to impossible. The restaurant and bar are less impressive, but otherwise it was a five-star experience."

"Palazzo Del Sale is a gem. Giovanni was so welcoming and friendly, as were his staff and dog Gigi. At check in we were treated to a cappuchino before Giovanni helped us with our bags up to our room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around beautiful Ortigia. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and having the patio just outside our door an added bonus. I highly recommend the Palazzo Del Sale and look forward to visiting again. "

"Absolutely beautiful, comfortable and spacious room/apartment right on the water in Ortigia. Seriously one of the most wonderful places I’ve ever stayed in my life and I’m not exaggerating. Location to die for, literally 10 feet from the bay and beautiful walks along the water with cafe’s/restaurants also feet away. All the staff were lovely, but Barbara was incredible and helped me by arranging a doctor to come to the hotel when I needed a prescription. Ortigia is just the right mix of classy...

We stayed in suite 1 and it had a private full sized hot tub in the room! The lady at the concierge was super helpful, she gave us great directions and even made reservations for our dinner. I really wish I had plan for a longer stay in Ortigia."
