"Beatuiful historic hotel in downtown Stockholm (Östermalm). Walkable to the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and Djurgården (with all the museums). The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was cleaned daily and we never saw the cleaning staff. The room was very beautiful and well maintained while still keeping the historic charm. Small things but still could have improved our stay/I wish I had known: 1)The rooms are small. We got a suite which was the size of a normal hotel room. 2)The AC does not really work in the room, which was OK becuase it was very cool in the evenings, but there is also no ceiling fan so the room got very toasty in the evening. 3) There is no door between the bathroom area and the bedroom so when I was getting ready in the morning I easily disturbed my sleeping husband. 4) There is one, very old elevator in the hotel, which broke towards the end of our stay, which made it very difficult to get to our room on the 6th floor. 5) There is a cocktail bar on the first floor, which we were excited to try, but it was NEVER open. We checked every evening of our week long stay. 6) Our minifridge was never restocked throughout our stay despite. We called down to request a refill but this was not done."

"This is a great hotel. Not on the main tourist high streets but 5 mins walk to metro and 20 mins from the harbour. Staff super nice and helpful. Didn’t use the gym but it looked good. Breakfast was great. Lots to choose from. Buffet style. The room maintenance was great. Would use again if we return."
