"My partner and I stayed at this resort over the weekend and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rooms were newly renovated and extremely clean. The bed was very comfy. The staff was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be coming back here."

"We booked a one night stay as we passed through to visit Ottawa on our way to Montreal from Toronto. Very convenient location, near Parliament hill, on the Québec side of the area. While the hotel itself is starting to show its age, -the rate reflecting it-, reception staff was very helpful, the room we got was clean and the beds comfy. Breakfast -billed separately- was outstanding. Indoor parking was also a separate charge. We will consider it again for the next time we’re in town."

"I had such a wonderful stay at the Sandman Hotel in Ottawa. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive. I mentioned that I was doing my very first book signing the following day, and they genuinely shared in my excitement and offered words of encouragement — such a small gesture, but one that made my stay feel especially personal. Dinner at the adjoining restaurant was also wonderful, with great food and a lively, comfortable atmosphere. I also really appreciated staying with a Canadian-owned hotel brand. There was something about the warmth, hospitality, and overall atmosphere that felt distinctly Canadian. I’ll be back in Ottawa next month and will very happily be staying here again. Wonderful people, great hospitality, and a true Canadian vibe. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent experience with the hotel! My. Room is. Spacious and has everything I need . Breakfast was definitely a plus with variety of the choices for the guests. Also like to mention the friendly staff there especially Lina who was at the frond desk, I was impressed with her professionalism and smile! Will stay there if visit again."

"The Metcalfe Hotel in Ottawa was fantastic for our one night getaway. Front desk staff provided great service from the moment we arrived, and the dining experience was equally standout, the floor manager even made a point to come out during breakfast service to ask how everything was. The rooms are modern and stylish, featuring quality bath products and a comfortable, firm bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The overall amenities on site looked excellent, though our quick stay didn't leave us with enough time to fully take advantage of them all. Quick tip: Instead of paying the $45 hotel parking rate, we parked down the street at Ottawa City Hall for about $25, which was convenient and budget-friendly. Highly recommended!"
