"Air climatiser impossible de l'arrêter ont a gelé et aussi en regardant la Tv, aucune couverture supplémentaire, le foyer électrique l'interrupteur pour la chaleur était visé a Off, la plinthe électrique ne fonctionnait pas. Aucune procédure pour le climatiseur, pour se connecter au Wifi et ca été très difficile de trouver la piscine, manque d'indications au sous-sol. Les heures d'ouverture de la piscine ont pas été respecter. Le drain du lavabo était bloquer. Très bon matelas et oreillers, ont as bien dormi."

"Parking was a bit of a kerfuffle at 1st but the lady at the front desk was kind enough to give us a detailed explanation of the parking as well as the elevator system. It didn't take long for us to figure out our way around the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was really spacious, great water pressure and the notches in the tub help to prevent slipping. The separation of the washroom from the main room was very nice as it kept the humidity from showering out of the bedroom. The staff were all very welcoming, accommodating and friendly."

"I was surprised to learn during our stay that this hotel was THE place to stay in back when traveling by train was the norm, with it sitting right next to Ottawa's main railway station. The informative signs detailing the many famous figures and dignitaries that have visited the chateau over the years was very intriguing to me. I could certainly see why it has earned such a reputation as the room itself was spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. Furthermore, the money spent on having a view over Parliament Hill was well worth it, as it made for excellent sights both day and night when we were relaxing there. Although we lamented the lack of a microwave it was hard to find fault with the grandeur of the room itself. I would say that the main things that offset our wonder during this stay were the lack of on-site parking (I don't like trusting my vehicle to a valet, but that's just me), the hecticness of traffic in the surrounding area (which is admittedly a given in a capital city), and the lack of adequate staff members in some areas of the hotel. The latter was mainly seen by us during breakfast, where there were too few people available to serve the sheer volume of guests, some of whom were rather demanding as a result. My wife and I felt rather sorry for the staff who were clearly trying their best, so my hope is that others have brought this up and that it will eventually be addressed."

"Travelled with our dog, so very good of the property to allow pets! Unfortunately, our room was not ready at check-in time so they moved us to another room which was much smaller than what we had been expecting based on our last stay. Good of them to let us check in, but as a result we may not have been reassigned the correct room. In the end all was good - as I say, very good to have a reliable hotel downtown that allows pets! :)"

"Check in was a little confusing. The registration office is all the way at the back of the property. Security isn’t great as we stayed in the inn at the front of the resort, very closest to the road. Our door was sticky and took effort to ensure it was fully closed, came back to our door ajar, it was either us or the housekeepers. Nothing was in the minibar, could have used some water when we arrived late at night but was available for purchase at the minimart at the registration office. Lovely property and amazing staff, breakfast was good and our dinner at the knoll was amazing."
