“Clean room, breakfast amenities were plentiful and staff was friendly and helpful. Especially liked the outdoor seating area to watch the herd of deer in the evening and the front lounge/bar area to sit.”

“Great location. Easy to get to the battlefield from the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable.”

“Good breakfast”

“The most perfect location! Loved it! You do have to pay for parking in the garage nearby.”

“Would recommend. Very good location.”

“This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent. The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event.”

“This propety is in need of major updating and cleaning. When I went to my room, a busted water pipe was leaking onto the carpet close to my room. It was still leaking at time of check out. I understand it takes time to repair, but the carpet was soaked, ceiling tiles falling in and no bucket to catch the water. Also, heat was substandard, HVAC system was loud and bathroom was not clean. The room was cheap and I needed a place to sleep for a onsite job in Thurmont, so you get what you pay...

“Very nice room and staff”
