"Very cosy, clean, everyone that works there r friendly and helpful. David works so hard to accommodate the clients, Rose is so hospitable. We loved the cafe. It feels like home Its the neighborhood cafe. Very safe. Very close to Shops, restaurants and the university of Oxford."

"Lovely hotel in a great location. Two main gripes (one foreseeable): - I resented having to pay £50 for parking. It seems so excessive given what you’re already paying for a room. - The floor in the entrance to the spa and the men’s changing rooms were disgusting. They need an hourly clean. By the time I visited at 8-30 at night the floor was revolting."

"We had an amazing two night stay here! We had a Boujee room with a bath at the end of the bed, a wet room and a courtyard terrace. Exceptional value. From the second we ‘checked in’ on the bus reception everyone was fun, friendly and so relaxed. We were walked to our room where all services and amenities were explained on the way and it made the arrival so exciting. The room itself was really fun and funky and really helps you relax just being yourself (there’s not much room for privacy from your partner!) we found it a great way to just find the joy in all the quirks. (A bath tub which fills from the ceiling is definitely a quirk!) The gardens were beautiful with just the right level of music. Drinks were lovely and whilst we didn’t eat here, the food smelled amazing! Throughout the whole stay every staff member we passed made pleasantries and made you feel welcome any time day or night. With a BP/M&S next door (though you really don’t here any noise), a £20 uber to Oxford and a 25 minute drive to Bicester Village, literally everything about this unique hotel was great from style and service to location. Expectations absolutely exceeded. We will most definitely be back! Thank you Crazy Bear team!"

"Be aware it is out of the city center so there are no other options close for dinner or breakfast. The breakfast was fine but the service in the restaurant for dinner was not always the best. A lovely spot and a quick bus ride into the heart of Oxford."

"We stayed in one of the older buildings which was great and had a unique feel to it. It did make controlling the temperature and ac a little trickier during the recent heatwave though. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean with a decent shower."

"My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a weekend and were impressed with the spartan yet functional rooms. Despite the size and pay for what you need aspect, it's a fairly decent value if all you need is a bed and some air conditioning. It's about the size of a citizenM room but without all the technology in the room. Definitely would stay here again with one caveat. We paid for a late checkout (£20 until 1 pm) and had a male maid barge into our room while my wife was sleeping. When confronted, all he could muster was "did you pay for late checkout?" When I confirmed that we did indeed pay for a late checkout and did he want me to show him a receipt and/or confirm with the front desk He said it wasn't necessary. Needless to say, not one apology for entering the room or disturbing our rest. Tacky at best, unprofessional at worst. Definitely a few moments for improvement. The rest of our stay was uneventful."

"I liked everything. When reception realised I was disabled they immediately offered me a room with disabled facilities. Marvelous really. They were wonderful. The valet parking is priceless. After The Grand in Eastbourne I think you have the best hotel in England. Best wishes, John"
