Nanuku is a truly unique, intimate resort on the Pacific Harbor. The Fijian culture places the highest value on family and hospitality and from the moment you arrive your are welcomed into that family with an authenticity of warmth and care.
Our Villa, with its private plunge pool, was spotless and appointed with the highest quality appliances, linens and electronics. The kitchen was stocked with endless coffee, water, milk and soft drinks. But the real distinction comes from the joyful spirit and service provided by the staff. Each individual, no matter what role that they played, seemed to anticipate your needs and was quietly there to meet it. The Kids adventure club provided a personal buddy for each child that was consistent throughout our stay and was available from 8 am until 8 pm at no additional costs. Their activities were beautifully varied and often unique to the culture with weaving, art, cookie making , pineapple smash, zip lines and exploring the wonders of the environment. When our 3 and 6 year old Grandchildren grew restless from eating in the restaurant, they could have their meals in the kids club accompanied by their Bula Buddies and the parents/grandparents free to linger over a lovely dinner. The food was fabulous and had a varied menu for the pescatarian diet.
Equipment for snorkeling, paddle-boards, and kayaks on sea or rivers was provided and bikes given to each of us. We were able to weave, carve, and learn village cooking. Fabulous!
