โIf youโre looking for an affordable place to sleep and have a hot shower near the Padre Island National Seashore this is a great place. Itโs not fancy but the air conditioning was ice cold and the rooms are clean and equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. There are several food options around and itโs minutes from the entrance to the national seashore. The owners were friendly also. โ
โI chose this based on good reviews, but it turned out to be a bad choice. There was a smell coming from the microwave, and the bathroom bathtub had been painted, but the paint came off and clogged the drain. The bathtub was messy because the paint had peeled off.
I will never go again.โ
โQuick check-in, room was clean, breakfast was good, nothing to complain, staff was always helpful. They had coffee and ice cold water all day long, appreciate the gesture.โ
โOverall, we had a comfortable stay. The hotel is nice, clean and quiet. It is pet friendly, so the room was a little stuffy and smelled like dog at first, but once the AC was lowered, it was tolerable. The counter was way smaller than expected, but served its purpose. Would definitely stay again.โ
