The room we had was Huge with a very large sitting area in the "turret" part of the castle. WE were only there for 1 night but enjoyed the location and facilities.

A bit dated but spacious room with everything you need including kitchen. Enough parking space. Only a few minutes walk to Countdown. Very reasonable price.

Hotel has congested areas. Just a few rooms down and up. We got a room downstairs. Different stepped areas making it inconvenient for rolling bags. Definitely not a roller friendly motel. The bathrooms are too old and the shower was actually pathetic. Not enough pressure at all. I don’t know how people rate this motel so high. I actually felt quite a poor experience.

My stay was great, brilliant communication. Very tidy, lovely huge room, very quite. Easy walk to town lots of food places close by. Supermarket justbround the corner

Friendly staff. Decent rooms. Only downside is there is no rubbish bin in room

Over all nice place to stay in, though it certainly wasnt the room I thought I'd booked.The room we got was lot smaller and the room pictured when booking had a seprate bath and shower main reason I booked. So was a little disappointed in that.

I love staying at the Castle on Fitzherbert. Staff are super welcoming, remember who i am and the rooms are spotless. Super convenient for shops and nearby eating places.. always a good stay.

A very friendly welcome. Satisfactory room, A bit noisy as close to the office but other folk were respectful and didn’t make any noise after 9pm. Nice to have the mini kitchen nook (fridge and kettle) with biscuits, teas and a decent sized plunger coffee provided. All very adequate for the one night we needed.

and comfortable, twice the beds were not made(states beds are made daily) floor not vacuumed during a 5night stay Bathroom,slightly outdated, if you use a dye of any sort,miss any minut spot you will be blackisted, also accused after leaving that there where burn marks on that simply cannot of been from myself. Knowing I only moved to a motel one property over, I could have clean said stains as it was still prior to checkout time. I replied to the message from the property and received no answer…. Am back I 3 weeks and would have booked another 9 nights but the place next door Rose City Motel seems like it’ll be taking me. Side note Andy from the castle was very helpful
