“The Kontiki beach resort was so amazing! All the shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away from your room. The food was 10/10. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I stayed on the luxury side and the rooms were so clean! Every day they gave you complementary waters in your room. I would just recommend renting a car to get around to the town and other areas of the island. Taxi and drivers can get very expensive! But whenever I did need a driver the front desk helped call me one. Beautiful...

The hotel is perfectly located, very close to the city (just a 7-minute drive from the Queen Emma Bridge), without the noise or crowds, and right on the beach; it’s not the prettiest beach, but it’s definitely a plus! “Pros: Entertainment 10 out of 10. Excellent nightly entertainment. Friendly entertainment staff. Beach 10 out of 10. Great. Clean beach with snorkeling right of the beach. No boat traffic, very tranquil. Drinks were excellent. Bar staff were amazing. Will make you anything you want. Cons: House keeping was not very good. We had to hunt them down to clean our room. After placing multiple calls to front desk noone showed up for 3 days. Food was just OK. Not a lot of selection in the evenings....

“The swimsuit rooms are moldy and smell really bad. Our room had a small patch of mold growing on the wall. They never refilled our minibar and it was extremely hard to book a reservations for the speciality restaurants. The pool area was nice the buffet was pretty good. Overall it was decent enough for the price just don't get a swimsuit. Or book somewhere else if you can afford too.”
