"Pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the brand. No breakfast, but a quiet night."

"We stayed for multiple days and had two different rooms. We stayed in the patio room for two nights, and due to availability, had to switch to the fireplace room for our final night. This was a slight hassle, especially since the front desk initially made it seem as though we might be able to remain in the same room. It was also frustrating that we were expected to vacate the first room before the next room was available, which would have left us without a room during the transition. The patio room was far better than the fireplace room. The fireplace room was located directly above the lobby, so we could hear the automatic entrance door opening and closing throughout the day as guests came and went. The room also appeared to have an area of the bathroom wall that had not been properly repaired after prior damage, with exposed hardware and paint missing from the wall. It almost seemed as though this room was assigned as a last resort. Additionally, both beds were not as comfortable as expected, possibly due to the mattresses simply being older, especially for a resort-style stay where pillow-top or more comfortable mattresses are typically expected. Although the rooms were equivalent in price, they did not feel equivalent in comfort or overall welcome factor. That said, the grounds were very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable to walk around. The property had a peaceful, unique new-age feel, while still making us feel like we were somewhere in Italy. The artwork, rocks, fossils,"

"The La Quinta - Paso Robles was in the center of everything. Good breakfast, clean rooms, courteous staff!"

"The hotel is very nice (at first glance) a clean well appointed lobby. The room is large and appears very clean at first glance. When we crawled into bed at night we found two HUGE ugly stains on the top sheet... clearly bodily fluid. The sheets were clean but stained so staff put them on that way (so gross). Staff brought us new linens and we remade the bed. The nighttime staff was very apologetic and nice. Needless to say I did not sleep well. The sheets overall were poor quality, thin and I laid awake all night wondering what other stains were in the bed. In the morning we noticed we had only ONE coffee pod and the sugar/creamer packet was lacking items (napkin and stir stick as well as swt&lo), as if it had been opened We brought this up to Maria at the front desk and asked to speak to Sherry (the manager). "Sherry is off until Wednesday"... period, no accomodation, no apology She actually told my husband to step away from the desk and that he was "not listening" ZERO apology or acknowledgement that the sheets were SO GROSS with obvious liquid sweat stains We requested that Sherry please call so we could and allow us to explain... 48 hours later we have heard nothing. The breakfast was delicious, the young lady serving was sweet and did a great job. But there were SO many other areas lacking attention and staff who were unwilling to make ANY accommodation for the disgusting nature of our bed let alone be kind or apologize. Super disappointed."

"Very nice accommodations, close to the Central Park/ downtown, and restaurants."

"A group of 12 booked this hotel 5 months ago; however, this hotel was hosting a car show and had the bar and restaurant closed down both Friday and Saturday nights. This was a huge inconvenience to our group as there are not any restaurants or tasting rooms that are in that area. I spoke to the hotel a couple of times during our booking process, and this could and should have been disclosed. For a 4-night stay, our rooms were only tended to one time. There was not a safe in the room, towel bars were falling off the wall, if the room had one at all. All of this may have been okay at a reduced rate; however, given it was a weekend, the rates were premium. All seemed to be below Marriotts standards."
