A nice restaurant across the road, a 10 min walk to other restaurants and pubs through a bit wornout and quiet streets (i wouldn't feel completely safe walking there alone at night). Most shops and restaurants are in the opposite end of the town, best to reach by car or taxi (not a problem during daytime to walk if you like...

โThis hotel was very convenient for the weekend while I was at Oliver's Mount watching the racing. Prices were reasonable. My room was very clean. There is only one lift in this hotel. โWe had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate...
โLooked a bit old fashioned but loved to stay here as I rather prefer family run independent hotel than big chain hotels. Breakfast was also great and more than others, members of their staff were incredibly helpful.โ
