Terrible experience
I and my daughter stayed for 3 nights here. And the last day in the morning I found my safety box opened and 140dollas was missing. I realized somebody stole my money during the night. Because the last night at 8 pm, l checked my money once again. I couldn't go to the police because it was the last day to come back to korea and it takes half a day to investigate it. Even worse, the supervisor tried to cover it. His rude attitudes made me feel angry very much. Eventually I couldn't find my money at all. I will never visit this villa again and it ruined my trip terribly.

Resort ligger i et dejligt område. Restaurant er meget hyggelig men dyr ift kvalitet og mængde. Der er skildpadereservat lige v siden af hvorfra man kan sætte små skildpader ud, hvilket er et stor hit. Villa er pæne men senge er dårlige. Internet dårlig. Kunne dog overveje at bo der igen

Perfect Pemuteran
Great hotel in a super location. Great for Diving or just being away from the tourist traps Well worth the distance from other areas of Bali. Look for Abyss Ocean World for some fantastic guided diving.

Beautiful traditional style hotel, massive landscaped grounds, right on the beach. Private or shared swimming pools. Close to amenities (liscenced general store and ATM). Diving and snorkeling tours, spa and poolside bar. Very quiet.

A peaceful place! The ocean view villa with private pool was amazing. Snorkeling off the beach. Food is not good but next door is Tirta Sari, both warung and restaurant with great food at great prices.

Wonderful staff , perfect location in Pemuteran , beautiful villa only the bathroom could have been improved as slightly old and tired. The gardens were just beautiful attracting lots of birds , frogs and bats, we were in heaven for a week. Barbecue night is a must do. The breakfast menu could maybe have a few more choices but were always perfectly cooked with fresh ripe fruit and gorgeous fresh juices.The seafood and fish dishes were yummy and very reasonably priced.The massages at the Spa were superb and excellent value for money.Villa's private pool perfect. We are so hoping to come back next year. Favourite place in Bali so far for relaxing .Definitely worth the 4 hour drive from the airport such a fantastic and fascinating journey through the mountains.Love love loved it :)

Awesome villa on the beach
We were staying in an ocean view family villa. The villa was huge (3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms) and private pool was nice with very comfortable pool side beds. Bathrooms had shower and wc outside which is typical of Bali and actually very relaxing.

Most relaxing holiday ever.
A memorable holiday in a very relaxing property. The staff are excellent and their service was even better. I couldn't recommend Amertha Bali Beach Front Resort highly enough.

Die Villas sind wunderbar gelegen (bis auf Nr. 15 & 14- diese liegen sehr nah an der Straße und an Schlafen war hier nicht zu denken), super ausgestattet, haben einen eigenen Pool. Die Lage innerhalb Pemuterans ist super. Das Personal ist authentisch-freundlich, bemüht und nicht unangenehm professionell-aufgesetzt.

Great place to get away from the noise.
Had a two bedroom ocean front villa. It’s not right on the beach but that was ok. The private pool isn’t that private as there is only some shrubs between you and anyone walking by. This wasn’t a big deal since it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The Staff was all very friendly. It was the low season and apparently they don’t get a lot of customers this time of year. The only downside to our room was the toilet was outside so the mosquitoes would be attacking you as soon as you went to use it. I did like that they didn’t use plastic straws or plastic water bottles like almost everywhere else in Bali.

Good value, great experience
We chose this hotel as it appeared to be more Balinese then 'International', but still to a high standard. It delivered exactly what we wanted & expected. Staff were courteous and attentive. Food and drink, especially the juices, was very good. We had a shared villa & pool which wasn't a problem, but we would have much preferred ground-floor accommodation. Very good value.

Schönes Strandhotel
Das Hotel scheint langsam in die Jahre zu kommen. Einiges, z. B. die Handtücher, sind abgenutzt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück gibt es im Strand-Restaurant, wie auch die übrigen Mahlzeiten. Das andere ebenfalls offene Restaurant war immer leer. Vielleicht weil alle am Strand sitzen wollten. Was gar nicht ging, sind die freilaufenden Hunde, die entsprechend ihre Geschäfte auf den Grünflächen verrichten. Die Hunde haben ein Halsband. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass sie zum Hotel gehören. Wenn die Haufen zu dicht an den Zimmern an den waren, wurden sie offensichtlich entfernt, sonst nicht. Die Hunde kommen natürlich auch auf die eigene Terrasse. Wir hatten eine Beach-Villa. Es quasi ein Doppelhaushälfte. Man teilt sich Küche (wofür die gut sein soll...??) und den Pool mit den Nachbarn. Zwischen Villa und Meer befindet sich eine Grünfläche, sie liegt also nicht direkt am Strand. Das Bad ist offen, zwei Duschen sind draußen, eine überdacht. WC ist auch überdacht. Waschbecken sind drinnen, aber nach oben ist alles offen. Moskitos....Frühstück war gut, Mittag- und Abendessen haben mich nicht überzeugt. Wir waren viel besser draussen essen.

We loved it here.
Would recommend this to anyone. We had a beach front villa and could hear the surf from our bed. A particularly lovely way to fall a sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the massages complete bliss. We stayed for 6 days and had one every day except the last day when we had 2! Ameretha offers lots of different tours which are priced middle range and are well run. For a full day tour lunch is included and it is delicious. We did their tour of a local waterfall and we had a lot of fun climbing the waterfall with our guides. There is a turtle sanctuary next door to the resort and a coral reef literally out the front.

Amazing Amertha villas
We had a fantastic time at Amertha Villas. The villa was absolutely beautiful and such good value for money. The resort was lovely with beautiful gardens and location right on the beach between the sea and mountains. The villa was large and spacious and made up lovely each day. We loved the pool and the seaview from our own Bali Benong. Pemuteran is a lovely quiet art of Bali. We enjoyed the snorkelling out the front of the villa.

Quiet and peaceful hotel
Hotel is perfect for family stay with lots of area for kids such as garden, private pool, public pool and beach area. Snorkelling is good. The hotel area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hotel very much and are considering to come back next year.

Relaxing and beautiful
Beautiful garden with pool villas directly on the beach. Extremely relaxing and beautiful area. Decent snorkeling on the beach next to the hotel, fantastic snorkeling around nearby Menjangan Island. If we ever go back to Bali, we'll definitely go to Amertha again.

Excellent Hotel!
We enjoyed the villa with it's own small pool. Service was excellent! When the volcano blew and closed the airport in Denpasar the hotel staff helped us arrange cars/ferry to take us to a Java airport so we could get home. Great food & room service!

Everything about Amertha was just perfect for us. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is amazing being right on the beach. The bar and restaurant are overlooking the ocean. The staff are always helpful and courteous. I cannot speak highly enough of Amertha Bali Villas.

Very impressive
Hotel offers an old world Bali experience with luxurious trappings. They offered a good driver to take me on and even negotiated the price. The driver offered free wifi in the taxi and was a font of local knowledge - a happy ending to a great stay - climbed the temple behind Matahari Resort - impressive views of the region - snorkelling off the island and national park a must do - should have stayed longer- go to the pearl farm or drive to the ferry terminal to Java 45mins or hot hot springs at Mimpi Hotel

Kolme yötä omassa villassa. Hotelli ei ole ihan uusi, mutta todella siisti. Huoneet ovat isoja ja mukavia. Käytössä oman villan uima-allas (joko oma tai jaettu muutaman muun villan kanssa) ja isompi yhteinen uima-allas. Rannan ravintolassa ruoka erinomaista. Meidän villamme/huoneemme sijaitsi alueen ihan reunalla. Muurin toisella puolella kulki tie ja siitä aiheutui vähäisitä meluhaittaa. Mutta meillä oli myös pieni turvallisuusogelma. Mitä suurimmalla todennäköisyydellä meiltä vietiin käteistä rahaa tässä hotellissa. Ei varsinaisesti ryöstäen vaan vähän näpistäen, joten huomasimme tämän vasta seuraavassa paikassa. Paikat oli tutkittu tarkkaan, sillä rahaa oli viety kolmesta eri "piilosta". Mahdollista on, että asialla on ollut joku henkilökunnasta tai joku ulkopuolinen (huoneemme siis sijaitsi alueen reunalla). Vähän tässä omaa vikaa, sillä meillä oli ongelmia safety boxin kanssa, mutta emme siitä huomauttaneet, sillä pidimme rahat mukana liki kaiken aikaa. villa#2a,bに4連泊しましたが海が目の前で周辺には花が咲き乱れ、villaからの眺めはとても良くのんびりリゾート気分を味わえます。すぐ前のビーチではスノーケリングも楽しめました。ホテル内の食事は期待できるものではありませんが、ホテルの近くにあるフランジパニカフェ&バーのイタリアンは美味しく、無料でデリバリーもしてくれます。残念な所は、トイレやシャワールーム、洗面ブースが半ば屋根がない造りなので、蚊や虫がくるので落ち着きませんでした。コーランで早朝起こされたこともあり、体が慣れるのに多少時間がかかりました。が、慣れてくると、夜は星が降るように見え、珊瑚のある海や海側から見える山、自然の素晴らしさをゆったりと感じられる場所です。ホテルのスタッフも、予約時も、滞在中も皆さんとても親切でした。

Prachtige villa
We (gezin met 2 kids, 8 en 10 jaar) verbleven in villa 9. Prachtig gelegen op het ruim opgezette, groene terrein. De villa met privé zwembad was groot, prima bedden, heerlijke buitendouche (maar ook 2 badkamers binnen). Er is buiten een gratis watertap. De villa heeft wat onderhoud nodig, maar met name buiten. Het restaurant is uitstekend en het personeel heel behulpzaam. Geluidsoverlast is een subjectief begrip, maar wij hadden best last van de moskees in de buurt. De oproep tot gebed begon al om 5 uur 's ochtends... Het kan zijn dat het was vanwege de ramadan en het Suikerfeest.

AMAZING!!
This hotel is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it, everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were great, the snorkeling was amazing, food was good and overall pretty cheap. My kids loved having their own pool. The only negative is how long the drive is from the airport. It took a solid 5 hours and probably closer to 6 after stopping for lunch. If you can stay a few days it’s great but if you are short on time the distance from the airport should be a deterrent.

Great alternative to the usual tourist traps
It's a long drive from the airport - but well worth it for those who want a peaceful holiday and a taste of a different Bali. Still lots to do - just not the usual tourist rabble - no bars, no shopping. A huge property, with very private villas, in a lovely landscaped environment. I got a very good deal for a non-peak stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Private pool was a good size. I didn't have anyone in the adjoining room (they share pool and kitchen/living area). It would be great for groups or families as you can share facilities and have private bedrooms. The beach is not great for sun baking (or even general swimming) but if you like snorkeling - there aren't many places better for snorkeling straight from the beach. The bio rock reef project is virtually out the front or a short walk up the beach. You could spend hours snorkeling here. Do your research before you go because it could be easy to miss some of the nice spots. There isn't much info at the hotel or on the beach about where to snorkel.

Sehr großzügige Gartenanlage und große Zimmer in Villa mit Privatpool. Etwas ungewöhnlich das Konzept der geteilten Villa: Küche und Aufenthaltsraum zur Mitbenutzung. Bei Einzelbelegung der Villa hat man natürlich sehr viel Platz. Am Strand gibt es einige Korallen zum Schnorcheln. WiFi funktionierte leider nicht zuverlässig.

Lovely resort right on the beach
If you're heading to Permuteran for a spot of diving then Amertha is a wonderful place to stay. It's right on the beach and has a number of great warungs nearby for evening dinner. It's very close to the main diving companies so it's perfect if that's the focus of your stay. The rooms are huge and very clean. The food is good but pricey for what it is. Overall id definitely recommend this resort.

If you like comfort, good service and cleanliness don't come here. The rooms are not clean, the bed is two singles pushed together. The sheets are threadbare and stained. Old, tatty, worn and torn towels. The staff are lovely but not trained so just stand around smiling. I was given a cracked leaking teapot with a hole in it. The lady could see it leaking but poured the tea and left, the leaking water dripped through the table and scalded my leg!! They need to do some maintenance and train their lovely staff. The gardens are kept beautifully and the beach is ok. No amenities and expect comparitively high prices for whatever you request. This hotel is being missold in the description and the Taman S next door offered better amenities and standards for a better rate.

Quiet beachside location,good restaurant
Ocean view villas are well equipped and spacious as well as being relatively private. Great verandah/deck around a nice warm pool. Daybed is perfect for relaxing. Our only gripe is the outdoor shower areas are overdue for a make-over. We also stayed in a garden view villa which was also good.

Perfekt afslapning
Vi tilbragte 6 dage i beach front villa og nød både udsigten og den store private pool. Snorkling direkte fra stranden er som at svømme i et akvarie. Uroligt flot. Rigtig god service fra det venlige personale. God mad i restauranten, hvor der er et bredt udvalg. Lokalområdet er knap så udviklet, men for en familie på afslapningstur det helt ok.

Service impeccable
Emplacement à la plage. Belles villas avec piscine grand confort. Bon rapport qualité prix. Viser chambres plutôt proches de la mer que de la route pour moins de bruit.
