“Great location with safe car park.
Friendly staff, good beer selection with every type of Timmy Taylors available.
We stayed in the annex, which is new so very well decorated, clean and spacious.
Full English breakfast was delicious, would definitely recommend.”
“Location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the amenities in town and being next to the canal made for a pleasant walk.
Room was overlooking the canal which I asked for, it did the job required, bed was comfortable and shower was excellent.
We stayed on a BnB tariff, breakfast was varied and decent although tinned tomatoes and mushrooms are a let down but that is a personal choice.”
“Arrived Monday afternoon, member of staff said the chef had done a runner, on the Tuesday another member of staff said the chef had a day off, on the Wednesday another member of staff said the chef had taken an extra day off and offered us tea and coffee and cornflakes foc.
The bar closed at 5 so if you wanted an evening meal you had to order early, that is if the chef was in. Sorry i cant give this hotel a rating, and the shower was hopless.”
“Short stay, lovely room with great view over the canal and fields. Iron was worn out and burnt my shirt! Otherwise ok facilities, bathroom a little tired .”
“Received room on the Keighley Road with rip roaring traffic which the windows and curtains couldn’t keep out. The welcome was fine but there was nobody with whom to check out.”
“Fabulous hidden gem. Fantastic staff couldn't have been more helpful. Room was spotless and very comfortable.
Dinner and breakfast delicious.
Highly recommended.”
“We absolutely loved The Lister Arms! The perfect Dales pub. Great atmosphere, dog-friendly, amazing food and such lovely staff. Ideal base after a long walk around Malham Cove. 10/10 - thank you to all the team!”
“Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay ”
“Our room was very dated and run down, in desperate need of refurbishment. Shower leaked everywhere, plaster peeling and damp and mould all over. The £120 room only per night was far more than it’s worth. The bar is nice and the food is reasonably for a pub, it’s not a restaurant. Location is good and has parking which is rare for Howarth.”
