โBarton Instow Guest house is a jewel in the crown. A lovely old converted farmhouse nestled in the Instow countryside but only a short walk to the beautiful beach front. The bed was clean and comfortable, towels dressing gowns and toiletries are also provided. Cold milk was available each evening for a morning cuppa in your room before an amazing breakfast choice of delicious food. Packed lunches are available at an additional small cost if you are walking or going to the beach. Caroline and...
โBeautiful location and great swimming pool, itโs just a shame the pub/restaurant is not open sounds like they just need someone to run it for them โ
โWe had an overnight stay here for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed our stay , It's not the Ritz as some previous reviewers seemed to expect, but it was clean ,the guy on the reception was friendly and helpful and we managed to use the outdoor swimming pool.An ideal location for what we needed ,โ
โFantastic retreat, off the beaten track but worth it if you are after a quiet stay.
The hosts were excellent, lots of communication and available to help if you need anything. โ
โLandlady went beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Incredible food and sent us off in the morning with complimentary food water for our trek. Extremely friendly/welcoming atmosphere!
Couldnโt recommend more!โ
โThe Imperial was ;lovely, well run hotel with excellent staff and food with one exception.namely the bread used for toast and sandwiches is very thick (approx 8mms) and not in keeping with a hotel of this quality. It should be replacedโ
โA great welcome after a long delayed trip. Our room was excellent, clean tidy with comfortable beds & quality bedding. Super large walk in shower room. Breakfast was superb. Staff very helpful & friendly. The location is perfect for a 10 minute walk into Barnstaple town centre along the promenade by the river. An excellent stay, shame it was only for one night. Highly recommend.โ
