"The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel. It’s homely. The meal at night was really good value and the waiter was so attentive. "
"A great hotel with very helpful staff. We had our toddler with us and she was very well catered for. Even the collection of games at the reception area had a something she could do. "
DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh - Queensferry Crossing
10/10 Excellent
"Overall the stay was great. The bed was a little hard, but that's a personal preference. Had an issue with the refrigerator and tried to call to front desk for help, but no answer. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for help. The front desk person didn't seem too concerned even after I told her that I had leftovers that I didn't want to spoil. We had two people to come up and fix the refrigerator shortly after. They were helpful and kind, they offered to take my food downstairs to the refrigerator. I very much appreciated that."
"Located right in the middle of town, we stayed in Kinnoul, larger than anticipated the two floors were wonderfully clean and modern, couldn't have been better. Lovely kitchen area with everything, apart from tea towels so we had to use the hand towel.
Some reviews say there is noise but we must have been lucky, maybe neighbouring apartments were uninhabited during our stay, whole place was silent, apart from town clock chiming every quarter hour, which didnt bother us and wasn't through the night so all good. Entry was easy once we cottoned on how to 'wake' the keyless entry pad - place 3 fingers on it! Code to room didn't work which was frustrating after such a long journey, phone call to the mobile number on booking was answered immediately and we were given correct code, so not really an issue, once I very pleasantly surprised 👍😊"
