I missed my check-in the first night due to flight delays, no notice that they marked me as "did not attend" and therefore offered (and sold) it on after I had already paid for it, to someone else. I had paid 2 nights, tried to check in the second night after I arrived to find they had sold the room I already paid for, to someone else. Did not have any availability for another room, so couldn't check in, had nowhere to stay despite having paid in advance. No notice that they had already re-sold my room and that I would be unable to use the room that I had already paid in full for. Also, I left my credit card there, while I tried to check into my already on-sold room, and tried to figure out refund or alternative options,
they refused to check the safe and just said I just definitely didnt leave it there, now I have to go through the inconvenience of reporting my card lost and being without access to my account for 2 weeks while I sort it out with the bank.... Just because you cant be bothered checking your actual safe or providing any decent level of customer service. They did refund the second night that they were unable to provide (after a sleep deprived meltdown from me) that I had paid for, and looked for another room available in their group of hotels, but only had a very inapproprate option, that I had to pay for again if I chose to accept.
