We had been here several years ago and went back based on that. Same room actually . What a change… the room smelled like cigarets and only had 2 flat pillows ( I had to ball up my sweatshirt under the pillow )and one sheet (with blood spots and burn holes) on the bed. No comforter. There were 2 small towels and 2 wash cloths. There was a threadbare bathmat with frayed edges and strings hanging off. There is no place to put your things other than the floor. No chair and no chest under the tv. You can’t hang clothes unless you have your own hangers. There are thin rectangular boxes attached to the wall meant to be nightstands. They aren’t level and your things tend to slide off. There was a wedding happening while we were there and the base was insane in our room. We were unable to sleep until it was over. Perhaps going forward- keep those rooms for wedding guests and put others at the other end of the building? The upside was that the tv worked and the soaking tub had great hot water. You can see the tv from the tub which was nice. I don’t think we will be back. I would never recommend staying there to anyone.

The parking was good, but i thought it would be a nice place and a nice area. It was in the hood the hotel didnt look like the pictures. Wall was dirty, no wash towels to wash wash with only towels to dry your body with. Look like a place that do all kinds of things in. The tv didnt work limited on delivery food from everyone didnt want to delivered food there. But, the hot tub was nice even it though it didnt have jets, but the only thing me and my husband was worried is about the car getting broke in. The neighborhood the hotel was in the middle of the hood.

NO hangers, dresser, coffee maker (had to go buy one as there is not even a guest area with one), and only one end table on side of the bed. Had 2 small towels and 1 hand towel. Had to use a towel as a floor mat by shower. Asked for a washcloth and more towels. Got 2 more towels but was told they don't have washcloths. A lamp was the bath light which left us with little light and only 1 plug in bathroom. The tub was seperate but had a distinct dirty ring in it, so we didn't use it. The walls were dirty as well, and the tile floor was pretty but had our feet literally black after just a few minutes of walking around. I had to continuously pop advil for the back pain from the extremely uncomfortable bed. Only 2 small, flat pillows. The hotel is actually on the side of the building in the pictures. NOTHING matched the pictures in the ad. NOTHING. Oh, there is a friendly homeless man living behind the building. He was nice and polite. Only 2 employees. The check-in man (8am-6pm, so don't need anything any other time) and a cleaning lady who doesn't speak any English, who doesn't have towels either. Shower was large, and upgraded which was great.

It was quiet and the staff were very friendly and negotiable but i stayed in two different rooms at this location and neither room had any kind of heat source (no base bored heat) (no multi functional window unit) had to buy a small plug in floor heater from a thrift store in order to endure the stay

It is obvious that the buildings are older, but they are clean! Oscar, the front end person, could not have been more helpful and nice. The back parking lot is dark which makes it a little scary to walk to your room at night.

Renovations being done on property

Also ask front desk if there is a private party at the Monaco club attached in front. A very festive party went on with techno music until the wee hours of the morning. My wife and I sleep hard so it didn’t bother us. If you’re a light sleeper, better ask first. Also bathroom was rehabbed and it was BEAUTIFUL. Front part of the room was not. Bed was comfortable and clean, coffee maker and micro in room. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was smooth the clerk was very nice and friendly. The room was a disaster - it was dark when I got there and while it looked very worn I thought I could look over and avoid the scuffed walls for the extent of the 3 night stay. The more I looked around the worse it looked and come morning with the full light the splatter of some sort of matter from floor to ceiling was apparent and all the other filth. I took some photos incase I needed to plead my case and packed up heading downstairs to request the rest of my stay canceled. They obliged very few questions asked and I tried to explain the stay was nice and quiet but that room was a disaster and neglected. I tried to add pictures to the review but the option was erring.
