“Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. “We had a wonderful stay at Bliss Tam Coc Hotel. The location is perfect only about a 5-minute drive from Tam Coc town, but it feels completely secluded and peaceful. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful limestone mountains, which makes the atmosphere incredibly relaxing and quiet. One of the highlights was the view from the rooms and the breakfast area. “We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, the room had poor seals on all doors and windows and on a cold few days it was difficult to stay warm. The bath plug didn’t work and so we couldn’t have a bath, on top of which the hot water was not flowing and turned cold within 5 minutes When it’s cold here there’s nothing to do in the room as there is no tv. On top of which the spa is substandard. Breakfast was minimal but good. ”
