"We absolutely adored this hotel in every way. The views were not to be believed. It was only a 10 to 15 taxi to anywhere in Florence. Heavenly. My only suggestion is please add a shower curtain to the bath/ shower area so the water doesn’t spray all over the bathroom. Otherwise, this place will exceed anyone’s expectations and dreams! GRATZI! "

"Loved the breakfasts on the terrace every morning! The location was good, not too far from the center of town. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. "

"We arrived at this hotel and we could not believe our eyes!
The building is an old convent/monastery and the rooms have all been modernised with very colourful furniture and decorated in a very unique way! The room and bathroom were quite large and they were very clean and well maintained.
There is a nearby terrace on the first floor next to the rooms where you can see Florence in the distance and also the gardens, patio and olive garden that surround the hotel.

"The room was spacious and lovely! The location was great as you are on the other side of the river from the touristy things (like the duomo), but surrounded by more unique restaurants and shops. Breakfast was superb and Roberta was so kind and accommodating "

"This review is for a 4-person suite, which might differ from other rooms.
I had a very enjoyable stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The room was very nice — well designed and spacious, with two bathroom sinks, two hair dryers, a tub with jets, and a separate shower. The complimentary mini bar was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was good (8/10), offering a decent selection and good quality. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Accademia Gallery where Michelangelo’s David is located. The hotel also had a convenient self-serve laundry area with one washing machine and one dryer. There were also water dispensers on every floor as well. I also loved the pillows, they were very supportive unlike most other places.
There were, however, a couple of small downsides. The hair dryers were quite weak and tended to overheat, temporarily shutting off after a few minutes of use. Also, there was only one iron available in the laundry room, though staff mentioned there were one or two more that could be requested for in-room use.
Overall a very pleasant stay. This was probably the best hotel I stayed at while in Italy, a great option for visiting Florence."
"Our stay at the Villa Agape was outstanding! The Villa is away from town which was refreshing after a day of exploring Florence. The daily shuttle was very helpful and we also walked 30 minutes too and from the city often. It was a very beautiful walk with good sidewalks. Our room was a Superior Double which included breakfast. This is a must! The breakfast was excellent. The staff here was also exceptional and went out of their way to make our trip comfortable. Do not be afraid that the Villa is away from downtown. It’s a perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. "
"Firstly, the location is PERFECT - it's walking distance to literally everything in Florence. Close to all the main sights, best restaurants, bars, shops, you name it.
Service was also great and extremely friendly / attentive. We checked in a bit early and they immediately had someone come tag all of our bags to store them. Once we checked in they brought them all up.
The real highlight of this stay though was the room. I had booked a regular deluxe room but upon check-in was told by the lovely front desk agent that they had upgraded us. He said his colleague would have to escort us to our room and we weren't sure why but we just went with it. Once we got there we realized why ... the room was INCREDIBLE. They put us in a room called Suite Beatrice. Everything about it was perfect, the stunning ceiling and artwork, the lovely bathrooms, the balcony, the incredibly powerful two zone AC (both bedrooms had independent AC controls which is a GAME CHANGER).
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't included in our booking but we did take a look and the spread looked wonderful. Also, you don't have to have a suite to enjoy this hotel - our friends had a regular deluxe room and their room was great too! Good size, clean / updated, great bathrooms. Highly recommend."
"Wonderful hotel. Incredible views from the huge rooftop bar/pool deck. Wonderful breakfast buffet with many hot and cold options. Main level bar is beautiful and the seating areas are both well-appointed and comfortable. Both bars offer gratis snacks. View of the river Arno, Piazza el Michelangelo and more from our room window were stunning. You can literally walk almost anywhere in the city from this location. "
