โEverything I needed for my two day stay excellent location all shops pubs take aways and restaurants on doorstep staff very friendly and helpful, had two really nice full English breakfasts with a teapot full of tea, good tv , kettle, tea and biscuits in room, lovely bedding, towels and shower gells and soap, couldn't fault the place definitely stop there again.โ
โThe host is very friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The accommodation is spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. In the morning, full English breakfast is served. There is a lovely pub nearby and there are good walks around the nearby lakes. All in all, great location and good value for money.โ
โWe were on a 3 week tour of England researching our family roots and history. We were purposely looking for stays in smaller villages/towns. This fit the bill perfectly. Our bedroom was comfortable, the shower hot and the food delicious. The staff couldnโt have been nicer - my wife even felt like maybe we had found long lost family. โ
โWell-kept property. Location is by the river in tranquil setting. Food of a good standard. Staff were friendly and professional. A special mention for Tony.โ
โThe building dates from the late 18th century, so mind your head when you enter! Room was very comfortable, and the service from the staff was very good.โ
โPolite and friendly staff. Kindly was upgraded so was a nice surprise. Great food! Had to pay extra for Breakfast for some reason but could not fault the high standard of food.โ
