The bed was so old and boken down i kept rolling out of it. Terrible nights sleep. Otherwise it was a good hotel. Staff was great. Dont stay in room 18!

This is not a bad hotel, the comforter on the bed takes you bad to the 80s so it has that nostalgic charm, but the place is very clean and rooms are in a great renovate condition new paint, and so on. Bathrooms are nice and big and clean as well. dont let the exterior of this place fool you, for a motor inn, it is 8.5/10

The staff was very friendly. Rooms very clean looked to be recently remodeled. Close to the freeway exit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great stay!

The rooms were very clean and the owners very friendly. The Queen bed was comfortable but the king was a bit stiff and springy. Could use a mattress topper.

The staff are very accommodating, VERY polite. Its an old school style motor lodge, so you park right in front of your room, which is great cuz Im disabled. The pool looked refreshing but i didnt get a chance to use. P.S. it appears they are

Check in was very easy. The lady was very nice at the front desk and when I had a little trouble with the lock, her husband was able to take care of it immediately. The place was quiet, clean a very comfortable. I got to park my truck right out front. The town was very close, if I had needed it, but, I had everything I needed with me. I love their set up of the yummy coffee, mini fridge, microwave and tv and definitely an awesome air conditioner!!! I stayed for 2 days and nights. I would definitely come back here next visit !!!

If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. The rooms are TINY. The carpet and furnishings are completely old and outdated, and the rooms reek of old cigarette smoke. The bed is really hard and so are the pillows. There's also the bonus of having some resident crack heads in the room next to you, there's a sign taped to the door telling you so. The floors in the bathroom were filthy, i used a towel to wipe up some water, and towel turned black. Also there as no breakfast as advertised, and the ice machine didnt work If the place were cleaned up, carpet ripped out and replaced with LVP and old furnishings tossed, it could be a really cute inn to stay at. The price was good and it was located close to my destination. The ower/staff very friendly. But to have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom is a lottle ridiculous.

The room was clean as far as we could tell there was only one wash cloth,the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure was great maybe to good it sprayed and splashed out of the shower which makes the floor very wet a few more towels could could help mitigate the wet floor. Overall it served the purpose the bathroom fan could not be run because it squealed so bad.still though for the price it will do.

The Gold Trail Motor Lodge and the Mother Lode Motel apparently now have the same owner. We booked with Mother Lode but ended up next door with a room in the Gold Trail Motor Lodge. For being so close to the freeway our room was remarkably quiet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was immediately hot and the water pressure wonderful. The place was clean. There is room for improvement-- dresser drawers needing handles, wall paper section needing glue . . . Would we stay there again when passing through the area? Absolutely. The room was definitely good enough. What was outstanding? The delightful couple who ran the place. They are friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
