“Hermoso lugar, personal muy amable, excelente trato y servicio, el restaurante muy bueno. La playa no es linda ni apta para bañarse por las fuertes corrientes, arena negra y agua oscura. Deberian poner mejores indicaciones despues del primer rotulo de la entrada, me perdi dos veces para llegar a recepcion. Los aromatizantes que tienen en las habitaciones son muy fuertes, de mal gusto y deberian ser opcionales si el cliente los enciende.”

“I loved the short walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and hardly anyone was on the beach. Also saw some monkeys in the trees out back of the property. The food was good, we only ate there twice. We had several drinks each night at the bar. Loved the location being so close to several sodas. Road to the lodge was rough but all the roads were pretty rough. “The rooms were very comfortable (best sleep we had on our trip to Costa Rica) and we loved the pool, the beach, the sunsets, and the star gazing at night. We were there with our family. It is a bit remote so good idea to bring games and snacks if traveling with kids. The restaurant on the premise is expensive but serves creative dishes by a Michelin star chef using local ingredients.”

“The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars!
