주변에 클럽이 있어서 밤새 시끄럽네요 이부분은 호텔의 문제가 아니지만 소음으로 시끄러운게 싫으신 분들은 고민해 보세요 나머지는 좋았어요~ 위치는 정말 좋습니다~ 처음 오셔서 주변 탐색하시기 좋은 위치입니다

Problems with "Pickup/Drop Service"

Location and facility was very good. Especially considering it's reasonable price for a night. Only a block from 10th avenue and from ADO station. Less than 5 minutes to beach by walking. Everything is clean, and amenities were good. I totally enjoyed staying here, and every member's in this hotel was very kind. BUT, There was a problem with "Pickup/Drop Service from Airport" 1. When they pick me up from cancun airport with a van, the driver was caught by the police for some reason. He told me that it's something related to his license. And I have to wait 30 minutes in highway. 2. When they sent me from hotel to airport, they called a taxi for me. One another taxi driver followed us from hotel, and threat my taxi driver. And he told me that I have to move to that taxi. Another taxi driver insisted that it's his area, took picture of my taxi driver and taxi number. I was very scared, and I cannot but moved to taxi. And after I arrived airport, taxi driver requested me a 1000 peso, even though I already pay for $105 to hotel for round-trip. I explained to this taxi driver, and he called to hotel. But the hotel said they cannot help nothing. So i have to pay it. I totally understand that it's not a hotel's fault, and it's rather related with police or taxi driver. But since hotel received $105 immediately after I arrived to hotel only with "Cash". So I think hotel should me more careful about there pickup/drop service, once they promise to offer picup/drop service.

Es gibt eigentlich nur zu beanstanden, dass in direkter Nähe ein sehr lautes Restaurant mit Bar ist, wofür das Hotel aber nichts kann. Da die Zimmer aber sehr geräuschdurchlässig sind, ist schlafen meist erst ab 2-3 Uhr in der Früh möglich. Dafür kann man aber auch in einem Kooperationshotel den schönen Rooftop-Pool nutzen.

Boa relação custo-benefício e próximo à Quinta Ave

Já havia ficado hospedado no Barrio Latino em 2014. Se trata de um hotel simples, porém apresenta boa relação custo/benefício por estar muito próximo à Quinta Avenida, à praia, ao termonal da ADO, ao embarque do ferry, ou seja, vc faz simplesmente tudo a pé. O lado negativo é a falta do café da manhã. No geral, é bem descente.

A fuir tout simplement !! Impossible de dormir dans cet hôtel, avec un bruit incessant jusqu'à 04h du matin. J'ai demandé une chambre au calme et on m'a répondu avec le sourire qu'on me mettait à l'étage tout au fond où il n'y aurait pas un bruit... si vous avez le choix restez plutôt au RDC où le mur principal doit protéger légèrement du bruit.. mais les murs résonnent, tout bouge au rythme de la musique du bar voisin. J'ai des boules quies moulés à mon oreille et malgré cela je n'ai pas pu fermer l'oeil. Un hôtel est fait pour se reposer, c'est inadmissible.

It's a good budget hotel in a convenient location.

It's a good budget hotel in a convenient location. Its very convenient to 5th Avenue, the bus station and the ferry to Cozumel. A really good Italian restaurant is across the street and many more restaurants, shops, dive operators, convenience stores and cafes are close. It's a cute, clean hotel, the rooms are simply but nicely decorated. The room was very clean, but because they leave the windows open ( no screens), the room had lots of mosquitos. I got bug spray from reception, so except for the smell, not a huge problem. I sprayed the room and left to go to dinner. There was a mini fridge, but it didn't work. It's very low season right now, so there was plenty of time to check that it worked. It has a bit of standing water in it. It's HOT this time of year, so that would really have been nice. There was also pretty noticable music from a nearby club, it went on pretty late and it was a Sunday, so be prepared for noise - to be fair, that the same for most places in the vicinity of 5th or 10th Avenue. All in all, it was fine.

2nd time at this property. I like the proximity to the beach, 5th Ave, restaurants, shopping and the Pier with Ferries to Cozumel. All within walking distance. The only thing was the noice from a nightclub in the corner. Music very loud, but after a couple of night you get used to it.

The hotel looked like the picture , the staff was friendly. It’s walkable to the beach and many restaurants. The room was clean , comfy the amenities is nothing high end but clean. Note the following; the pool is not on property , it’s in another hotel. No elevator so if you can’t use stair then it’s not for you. The parking is limited it your renting a car , I don’t as lucky that I got a parking but if I left I would probably loose my spot. Over all it was nothing fancy but I enjoyed the location.

The hotel is right on Calle 4, which is right by Quinta Avenida. Be prepared for it to be very loud even well into the night. Other than thats extremely close to everything. Awesome.

It’s a quaint property and handy to many amenities. The bed is very hard, if you like a firm mattress. If I was to offer a suggestion for improvement, I would recommend having coffee available at the location. Although there’s a communal coffee maker, it’s just for hot water and it’s just not convenient. But I really loved the location, and I loved the resident cat 😁

This has been a lovely, value-for-money stay at a very convenient location in the heart of Playa del Carmen. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and having them at the gated entrance 24 hour round was a great tick in the piece of mind box. Yes, the bar at the street corner could be loud some nights, but only occasionally, and a pair of earplugs (available from the reception) does the trick.

Nice stay at barillo

I loved the hotel in the day time but evening it’s too noisy because of a bar near by till 2 or 3 am . They also charge for an other person to stay in a a room made for two so it’s quiet strange to me as I never experience it before . I like that there is many local restaurant around and beach is close . The cat :) the place is lovely and the staff very kind

The staff was great here and it’s cheap and convenient location, but the biggest issue for me was that the doors didn’t deadbolt and the doors were pretty thin so if you’re a nervous traveller I would opt for something a bit more expensive. All the budget hotels are like this there though. Cute little seating areas outside though with a hammock which was nice and overall it was pretty clean.

Great if all you need is a clean bed

I just needed a bed and a clean room and got it here. It's pretty bare bones but it does the trick. There's no drinking water available which is kind of annoying but I guess they're saving on costs where they can. Bring ear plugs. I chose this place in part to avoid the 5th Avenue noise but there's a bar blasting music within ear shot.

Air conditioner was non-functional in that it did not blow any cool air, just room temperature. It was obvious that the refrigerant had been depleted and hadn't been serviced in years.The rooms two electrical outlets were also non-functional in that they were worn out and could not firmly hold the the plug of the device you would plug into the outlet.

Great value, safe and super clean!

This was my third time staying at this hotel and it never fails to disappoint. It’s great value. The location is perfect for a solo traveler, it’s safe, central and 5 mins to the beach and bus station. Andreas the owner is fantastic as with the rest of his staff, friendly, courteous and professional. I’ll always stay at the Barrio Latino hotel.
