“This place is an amazing hidden gem in Manuel Antonio! It is a perfect stay for anyone looking for unique, chic, extremely clean but simple! Wonderful modern amenities including air condition and a TV but with such beautiful scenery you likely won’t even turn it on, all within this quaint B&B! The staff was kind, communicative and extremely helpful. The food at Ronny’s place restaurant was delicious! Highly recommend for a single or couple looking to experience the views and quaintness of Manuel...

“Darlene “Dar” was #1 at check in and on check out. She keeps the hotel rolling!! At breakfast we chose a different 1-4 options each morning to see the difference. Each one was great, if I had to choose I’d select the pancakes with scrambled eggs. Room was always clean each day when we returned from our daily venture. Dont miss the happy hr by the pool in the garden from 4-6. ”

Vegetarian dinner options were limited at La Casa restaurant and kind of expensive (nevertheless, you have a lot of restaurants outside at La Fortuna, but everything else in the resort was very nice and awesome! “What an amazing vacation we had. After 5 days most of the staff had become good friends. It was sad to say goodbye to them. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!”

“Beautiful grounds”

“We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. ”

“Convenient location (our guide picked us from there), spacious room with all amenities, nicely decorated inside and out, secure parking right in front of the rooms, very flexible host (we arrived late and got checked in fast and he was wiling to let us check out late next day if we are not back from the tour on time). Great stay!”

“The rooms were cleaned regularly and spotless and the staff friendly, but what really stood out was the abundant nature. I saw more wildlife here than on all of the nature tours I went on put together. I saw 3 different types of monkey, iguanas and lots of birds including the striking fiery-billed toucan. ”
