"Its a nice little compact hotel with compact rooms. Ideal for staying if you are away from room most of the day and just coming back to sleep. Very small shower cubicle. Good amenities for a small room. Carpets definitely needs a good refurb. The 2 times I tried calling guest service/reception no answer. Tried to get help to dispose off some rubbish from the room so I have more space of the small desk, I was told no staff was available to help. But I enjoyed the breakfast, the location (close to CBD, most sightseeing places, restaurants and you can walk to waterfront) Reception staff was friendly at check in. "

"Next door to the Whakarewarewa geothermal walkway/ Moari village, which is very convenient. However, the sulphorous smell can be strong and cause some irritation. Breakfast was good. Room service options were a bit quirky. Great base to explore Rotorua and surrounding areas and activities if you have transport. Room was clean and functional, although not particularly spacious. We had a Superior Queen Single for a couple. It had a single bed, as well a queen bed, which took up space. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"The unit we had on the ground floor was showing signs of being dated . The breakfast was excellent . The food was very good with a nice selection and the environment was neat and tidy and pleasant . "

"Good standard throughout with friendly staff. Did Norma eat in but would have breakfast next time. Ideal location for Central Tauranga and within walking distance to excellent cafes and the Strand and waterside. Easy to get to by car and good parking. Room facilities very good, and bed fabulous."
