An enjoyable stay. Room was very big, quiet, had a nice view & comfortable. Good breakfast & buffet dinner one night. Folk dance show was good too (I even got to dance). Parking garage was fine.

The hotel had an amazing location right on the beach. It is walking distance to small restaurants and shops in the town of Porto do Sol. Staff and manager were very helpful with any guest needs and providing travel information for the island. It is quiet but best to stay on lower floors between the restaurant and the garage. The parking garage was convenient but only way to gaurantee a space is to arrive before 6 pm. If arrive later than 6 pm guest may have to find a space on the street. The breakfast had a good variety but the dinner did not. Dinner was too costly (30 euros) if not included in reservation for limited selection.

We loved our room with a view of the water and park. It was nice to have the sauna and pool. People were very friendly. We would definitely recommend it and plan to come back.

The staff were nice. The breakfast was included and had a variety of fresh food daily. Especially appreciated the drying line in the shower so bathing suits could be hung up to dry. The only downside was the parking situation: a very small underground garage that didn't say it was full (first come, first served), and street parking was next to impossible to find, unless you parked before 6 pm or after 9:30 pm, as many people come to see the sunset (which IS beautiful). No street or underground parking reserved for guests at the hotel. Except for the parking difficulties, a very nice and relaxing stay.

All of the staff were lovely and friendly. The waiting staff at meals were polite, cheerful and attentive. There was always a broad selection of food options at the buffet in addition to the show-cook options. Rooms well prepared and maintained and the underground parking a handy feature.

Hotel is excellent. Fantastic location on the beach. All rooms are large, modern, clean, with beautiful sea views. Indoor pool, sauna and Turkish baths are a nice touch. Breakfast is excellent but they need a second coffee machine to reduce the coffee line up. Great service and the buffet dinners are worth the extra money.

We loved staying at Enotel Sunset Bay. Ponta do Sol is a fantastic location on Madeira. The hotel is right in front of the ocean and beach and all rooms have ocean views.We stayed on the 4th floor in the seaview rooms with balcony. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well-equiped. The 4th floor is where the roof top deck is located. It was a great place to soak in some sunshine and relax after a day of hiking. The indoor pool was also a bonus. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of great choices. There is free underground parking, but it is somewhat difficult to get into and can get full. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and I highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Madeira with its prime beachfront location. The views of the ocean were absolutely stunning and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was so soothing. The breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The staff was attentive and friendly, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The on-site spa area was a great place to unwind and relax, with a range of treatments and facilities available. Additionally, the hotel is located in a charming little town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and local attractions to explore. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway on the beautiful island of Madeira. I can't wait to return!

Pretty good!

Very clean and people friendly. Our room needed bathroom maintenance. We had loose tiles and a leaking sink. The breakfast buffet offered many selections. However, the hot items were not hot on one of our two days there. Kitchen staff more than willing to accommodate. Parking in the underground garage is limited, you may have to park in a protected area in a tunnel near the hotel (not a problem). There is a great little bar/restaurant across the street right on the beach, which is good for watching sunset and I would definitely recommend the food.

The location next to the ocean is a bonus. Listening to the waves in the morning and evening brings great serenity. The staff is also very friendly. There was one woman in particular that made it even more enjoyable. I wished I had asked for her name. She helped me picked out some guided tours for the time I was there. She even wished me a happy birthday before I left. Itā€™s those little thoughtful moments that makes it memorable. When I return, I will definitely go back there.

We're really pleased with our 2 night stay at Enotel. We had a sea view room with a balcony and we highly recommend it. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings taking in the sunset and the sound of the rolling waves. One night the sunset was a spectacular display of orange, pink, and blue! The room itself was clean and spacious. We found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. Check-in and check-out were easy and the underground parking is extremely helpful as the beach-front street is paid parking and fills up quickly. The parking garage is tight but manageable, especially with a smaller car. One evening we made use of the pool, sauna, and imam. It was great to have these on site to relax following an afternoon of hiking. In sum, we'd definitely stay here again!
